Stormy Daniels claims she has phone records that are going to ‘hurt,’ as Trump ducks the glare

Porn star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is still milking her 15 minutes of fame as the prospects of former President Donald Trump being indicted over a $130,000 hush money payment crashes and burns.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s politically-motivated criminal probe of Trump hit what looks to be a serious roadblock when a 2018 letter from the lawyer of star witness Michael Cohen to the Federal Election Commission surfaced, showing that his client acted alone in paying “hush money” to Daniels and he did so using his own personal funds.

When a random social media user taunted the porn actress in a tweet that included a copy of that letter, Daniels clapped back to suggest she has more damning evidence in phone records that she promised was “gonna hurt!” She doesn’t say who would be hurt by these phone records that have apparently never been produced in all the time this controversy has been hanging over Trump.

“Are you still laughing @StormyDaniels. You seem to have stopped tweeting obsessively about Trump but I’m sure you’re having the last laugh,” tweeted a social media user under the name “Sal.”

Daniels replied, “I’m sure I will. I’ve been handing over phone records to my attorney today (they’re gonna hurt!) and planning spring break activities with my kid. It was a wonderful day.”

She concluded with a happy face.

The exchange took place on Wednesday, which is the same day Bragg unexpectedly canceled the Manhattan grand jury session to hear evidence against Trump. On Thursday, it was widely reported that the grand jury is not likely to consider the case until next week. Bragg also said Thursday that Trump had “created a false expectation that he would be arrested.”

Trump responded to the “exculpatory” letter by calling for the Manhattan DA to end his “witch hunt.”

“Wow, look what was just found—A Letter from Cohen’s Lawyer to the Federal Election Commission. This is totally exculpatory, and must end the Manhattan District Attorney’s Witch Hunt, immediately,” Trump wrote. “Cohen admits that he did it himself. The D.A. should get on with prosecuting violent criminals, so people can walk down the sidewalks of New York without being murdered!”

Daniels is eager to be a witness in the case and has vowed to  “dance down the street” if Trump ends up being jailed.

Another incident of interest taking place Thursday were reports that Trump tried to duck photographers while returning to Mar-a-Lago after a round of golf at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach.

Seen wearing his trademark red MAGA hat emblazoned with the number “45” on the side, the New York Post reported that the “usually camera-loving former President Donald Trump was seen cowering in the back of an SUV in an apparent attempt to dodge photographers,” adding that “the optics-obsessed Trump, 76, contorted his body and tucked his head down to avoid being photographed.”

Odd behavior for a man who has never met a camera he didn’t immediately fall in love with. Then again, he could have been reaching down to tie a shoelace.
