Former Congressman Adam Kinzinger appeared on CNN Tuesday to smear Fox News host Tucker Carlson over his expose on unseen Jan. 6 footage, calling him a “grifter,” a “straw man,” and “disgusting,” while Senator Chuck Schumer railed against the conservative in Congress.
On Monday, Carlson released previously unseen footage of the Jan. 6 protest, claiming that Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and the House Select Committee conclusively lied about what really happened that day. He showed video footage that depicted the protest in a much different light than how leftists have spun it to fit their narrative.
“It’s disgusting,” Kinzinger venomously stated. “The sad thing is you’re going to have people that have only gotten their news on Fox News that are never going to have the opportunity to hear the truth.”
“What Tucker Carlson does — and he’s done this the entire time he’s been as a grifter TV show host because he knows better than this, by the way — he takes a cut scene and creates a straw man,” he disingenuously charged.

Kinzinger also swiped at Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) for running for safety which Carlson contended the new footage shows that wasn’t the case. He also asserted that other senators tried to get away from the rioters “because there was violence that day.”

Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer had his own meltdown on the floor of the Senate. He vigorously condemned Carlson for airing the footage of the Jan. 6 protest in a way that portrayed it as a peaceful visit to the US Capitol.
He slammed House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) for giving Carlson and Fox News exclusive access to 44,000 hours of Capitol security footage.
“I and so many others who were here” on Jan. 6, 2021, “are just furious with Tucker Carson and Kevin McCarthy today,” Schumer railed.

He called Carlson’s broadcast on the protest, “One of the most shameful hours we have ever seen on cable television.”
Schumer also accused Carlson of cherry-picking security footage to make “bald-faced lies” about the invasion of the Capitol by hundreds of supporters of then-President Trump.
Carlson “tried to argue it was nothing more than a peaceful sightseeing tour,” Schumer raged. “Can you imagine?”
He demanded that “Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, tell Tucker Carlson not to run a second” segment using the security footage showing just how terrified the left is of it getting out.

“To say January 6th was not violent is a lie, a lie pure and simple,” Schumer claimed.
Former President Trump congratulated Carlson on exposing the purported truth of that day and called for the release of the Jan. 6 detainees.
“Congratulations to Tucker Carlson on one of the biggest “scoops” as a reporter in U.S. history. The New Surveillance Footage of the January 6th Events sheds an entirely different light on what actually happened. The Unselect Committee was a giant SCAM, and has now unequivocally been stamped as CRIMINAL FABRICATORS OF THIS MOST IMPORTANT DAY. Pelosi & McConnell failed on security. The Police story is sad and difficult to watch. “Trump” and most others are totally innocent, LET THEM GO FREE, NOW!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“LET THE JANUARY 6 PRISONERS GO. THEY WERE CONVICTED, OR ARE AWAITING TRIAL, BASED ON A GIANT LIE, A RADICAL LEFT CON JOB. THANK YOU TO TUCKER CARLSON AND SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE KEVIN McCARTHY FOR WHAT YOU BOTH HAVE DONE. NEW VIDEO FOOTAGE IS IRREFUTABLE!!!” the former president declared.
