‘Eric’s a lucky man!’ Lara Trump ditches conservative attire for revealing blue corset, owns the catwalk for dog charity

Just hours after delivering a sobering speech CPAC, Lara Trump ditched her conservative look and lit Mar-a-Lago on fire with a jaw-dropping runway strut in a slinky blue corset dress created by Parisian designer Anne Fontaine.

Trump’s stunning time on the catwalk was part of a two-day charity event titled “Win, WoMEN and Shoes’ that was hosted at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort to benefit the event’s organizers, Big Dog Ranch Rescue.

“Somebody (@BDRRescue) let me pretend to be a model again today,” Trump wrote on Twitter as she shared the video Kimberly Guilfoyle proudly shot.

Founded in 2008, the organization is dedicated to saving “5,000 dogs every year, to heal and place them with loving families and to educate people about the proper care for dogs and the importance of spaying and neutering,” according to its website.

In recent months, Big Dog Ranch Rescue has raised more than $600,000 to rescue dogs who have been abandoned at the Texas-Mexico border by illegal migrants.

And the organization has opened a temporary Border Shelter in Poznan, Poland, and is “coordinating transports of Ukrainians and abandoned dogs left behind in bombed-out cities.”

“Big Dog Ranch Rescue partnered with multiple dog shelters and animal rescue groups in Ukraine, Poland, and Romania sending food and supplies to these regions for weeks and worked with local groups to transport hundreds of dogs from war-stricken Ukraine into safe shelters and homes throughout Europe,” the website states.

The Trump family has long been considered a friend of Big Dog Ranch Rescue.

Following the sudden death of Lara’s mother-in-law, Ivana Trump, in July 2022, those grieving were asked to donate to the Loxahatchee Groves, Fla., charity in lieu of sending flowers.

“Eric and Lara [Trump] and Kimberly [Guilfoyle] and Don [Trump, Jr.] have been very supportive of our dog rescue and the growth that we’ve had,” Lauree Simmons, CEO of Big Dog Ranch Rescue, told Fox News Digital (FND) at the time. “They are involved and helping us.”

According to Simmons, all three of Ivana’s children are “huge dog lovers and rescue supporters.”

“Ivana was a survivor. She fled communism, embraced America and raised three exceptional children, who also devote their time and resources to many charities, including Big Dog Ranch Rescue,” she said in a press release.

Of the donations rather than flowers, Simmons told FND, “I feel Ivana would have loved this idea,” adding, “I feel that Ivana is in heaven now, helping me save lives.”

Back on Twitter, Lara Trump’s runway look received plenty of praise.

“Beauty,” wrote one appreciative user, “my goodness Eric’s a lucky man.”

“Wow!” exclaimed another. “I love it. I need some of that.”

“What a model should look like,” stated a third. “Not an unnourished stick person who can’t even smile.”

But as stunning as Lara was, she wasn’t the only one to “wow” on the runway.

According to the Daily Mail, attendees of the event were also treated to “a celebrity doggie fashion show.”

Sounds like a perfectly pawesome night…
