Media ignore Biden’s ultra-racist policy

Op-ed views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author.

President Biden’s latest executive order gives the green light to extensive government enforcement of Critical Race Theory, equity, and affirmative action. What this means is that Biden’s federal government is erasing the gains made by the Civil Rights Movement as well as the hope expressed by Dr. King that people will be judged by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin.

Did you hear about it? Probably not, because the mainstream media are not reporting the most anti-American of all Biden’s actions to date. It should have reverberated the following day throughout the legacy media but to my shock, there was nothing. They don’t want the public to be aware of what Biden is doing to destroy our country. “Joe Biden institutes a government-wide system of racial discrimination that dwarfs Jim Crow,” Tucker Carlson said, “and nobody seems to notice.”

Tucker Carlson is one of the few to acknowledge that it happened. On his Fox show airing Friday, February 17, Carlson described Biden’s new policy initiative as, “The largest racial tracking bureaucracy since the fall of Nazi Germany. Biden restructured the entire executive branch of the US government to discriminate on the basis of immutable characteristics.”

Biden’s new order—”Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government”—requires that within 30 days, every federal agency must have an equity team to coordinate the implementation of Biden’s racist initiative. The equity teams will report to an equity czar who will ensure that all new federal employees will be selected based upon their skin color so that preference can be given to non-whites. “Henceforth,” said Tucker Carlson, “every official Joe Biden hires will be a first—not a first in achievement—the first in appearance. The first person who looks a certain way. Not only can you judge a book by its cover, you are required to.” If you are a white male, go hide in the corner. This is now the official policy of the US government.

“Every single person in the US will qualify for one of Joe Biden’s many protective categories except straight white men,” said Carlson. “They will not be protected because they are, by virtue of being straight and white and male, the cause of the problem. They are the enemy. Don’t expect a government contract or an SBA loan or even decent service from the clerk at the DMV. You’re a domestic enemy now. You’re an English-speaking version of Vladimir Putin. The equity agenda is your personal sanctions regime. Someday we’ll wonder how this could have happened in a country that claims to love the Civil Rights Movement.”

My generation was taught that we should aim for equality of opportunity. Equal treatment under the law. A colorblind society. Well guess what—things have changed. Now the “woke” crowd says the hell with equality, what we really need is “equity.” The objective of equity is not equality of opportunity, but rather equality of outcome. Everyone should have the same income, job success, house, neighborhood, etc. According to equity and Critical Race Theory, we must give minorities special treatment in order to even up the scales and compensate for past injustices.

To support equity and Critical Race Theory, one must accept that the US is inherently racist and that white men have achieved their economic and political objectives by oppressing minorities and women. These ideas have been repudiated by respected black leaders such as Thomas Sowell, Shelby Steele, Bob Woodson, Candace Owens, and Larry Elder. They are unanimous in their agreement that systemic racism and the oppression of blacks is a thing of the past.

“Blacks are now the victims of liberalism and wokeism,” said black author Shelby Steele. “That’s what’s keeping us down, not racism. Past oppression cannot be conflated into present-day oppression. It is likely that today’s racial disparities are due more to dysfunctions within the black community.” Steele put his finger on the real problem—the black community has become increasingly dysfunctional. A continuing tradition of black violence in urban settings is bringing the civil society to its knees.

“Critical Race Theory,” said Greg Gutfeld on Fox, “undermines the positive core beliefs of America by redefining the nation as an engine of oppression.” Biden has adopted this radical dogma as a pillar of his administration. He wants to abolish the fundamental American value known as meritocracy. He doesn’t want us to choose the most qualified brain surgeon, airline pilot, or Marine. Equity and CRT support giving preferences to anyone who is not a straight white male. This is the ideology of the Democrat Party to which Joe Biden has surrendered.

The Left’s objective, says Mark Levin in Ameritopia, is to “collapse the existing society” by dividing the people against themselves. The drive for diversity, equity, and inclusion, wrote Bret Stephens in The New York Times, “is insulting to everyone who still believes we should be judged by the content of our character. It shouldn’t be hard to see that trying to solve the old racism with the new racism will produce only more racism,” Stephens concludes. “Justice is never achieved by turning tables.”

There is a glimmer of hope. House Republicans have begun to propose ideas in Congress aimed at eliminating “woke” positions from the federal government. Can they stop Biden and his left-wing handlers? Let’s hope so.
