White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre did a political two-step on Thursday, going out of her way to not answer questions concerning the release of President Biden’s Delaware home visitor logs after a second batch of classified documents was found in his garage and an adjacent room.

Pressure is mounting for the Biden administration to make public the visitor logs. Despite Jean-Pierre claiming to Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy that, unlike the Trump administration, Biden has kept extensive logs, transparency on the issue is all but non-existent. She would not answer whether they will be released or not.
When confronted by Doocy, the press secretary got her fur up as he pointedly asked whether the Biden administration would commit to releasing the Delaware-based visitor logs. Of course, it all comes back to former President Trump.
“Let’s not forget what we did here in this White House. We instituted something that the last administration got rid of, which is … putting out, making sure there was a White House log, extensive White House log,” Jean-Pierre responded to Doocy’s questions.
“I am telling you we did something the last administration got rid of, which is instituting the White House logs. Did you ask the last administration why they got rid of the White House logs?’ she defensively bit back.
The New York Post’s Steven Nelson attempted to jump in by asking if the Biden White House would release the list of guests. The press secretary ignored him.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I was calling the gentleman who wanted to ask a question that was not related to this,” she sneered at Nelson.

Jean-Pierre would not provide a number when she was asked how many people have been in and out of the Penn Biden Center and Biden’s Wilmington residence.
“There is an ongoing review of this and I would refer you to the Department of Justice,” she said when asked about it sounding more and more like a broken record.
Jean-Pierre was hammered during the White House briefing on Thursday with questions concerning the announcement by Attorney General Merrick Garland of the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the discovery of classified documents belonging to Biden in at least two locations.
After the documents in Delaware were discovered, Biden confirmed they were kept in a locked garage “as well as my Corvette” to reporters at the end of a speech on economic progress.
Doocy brought the question to Biden directly on Thursday.
“Mr. President, classified material next to your Corvette – what were you thinking?” Doocy asked the president.
“By the way, my Corvette’s in a locked garage, OK?” Biden shot back. “So it’s not like they’re sitting out in the street.”
DOOCY: "Classified materials next to your Corvette?! What were you thinking?"
BIDEN: "My Corvette's in a locked garage so it's not like it's sitting on the street."
DOOCY: "So the material was in a locked garage?"
BIDEN: "Yes— as well as my Corvette."

The Biden administration has never released the visitor logs to the Wilmington residence. The president has spent almost every weekend at his Delaware home.
The New York Post attempted to gain access to the logs via a Freedom of Information Act request. They were told in September by the Secret Service that “no responsive records” were found.
According to the Daily Mail, Rep. James Comer (R-OK) commented at the time, “The claim that there are no visitor logs for President Biden’s Delaware residence is a bunch of malarkey.”

“The more evidence that is revealed shows the need for true oversight that will shine a light on any and all illegal activity. We need to know why President Biden has refused to release his visitor logs at his Delaware residences while classified documents were hidden in the garage when foreign visitors with off-the-books meetings could have had access to this information,” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) emphatically stated on Thursday, according to The Washington Times.
Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) noted on Thursday that President Biden had conducted his 2020 campaign from the Wilmington home.
“Biden hid in his basement during the 2020 campaign. Biden hid classified documents in the garage. What else is Biden hiding in his home?” Reschenthaler tweeted.

Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) sent Biden a letter on Thursday calling on him to “release all visitor logs” from his Delaware home.
“The fact that classified and sensitive material was casually stored in your garage, apparently next to your Corvette, is deeply concerning,” Buck wrote in the letter, according to Fox News.
“As president, you have made at least 60 trips to Delaware, and you reportedly spent a substantial amount of the 2020 presidential campaign at this location,” Buck noted. “As a matter of national security and transparency, the public deserves to know who visited this residence and had access to these unsecured, classified documents.”
“I call on you to release the visitor logs for your Wilmington residence in light of this news and deliver on your promise of transparency to the American people,” he wrote.
Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) also sent a letter to Biden demanding the release of his Delaware residence’s visitor logs, “The American people deserve to know who had access to that garage.”
“The Biden Administration has continuously promised to bring transparency and truth back to the government, yet your failure to disclose this information sends the opposite message,” Gooden remarked.
Today, we learned that Biden was keeping classified documents in the garage of his Delaware home.
However, the Biden WH is still shielding the Visitor Logs from that home.
The American people deserve to know who had access to that garage.
