Swalwell makes ridiculous claim that Marjorie Taylor Greene will ‘be in charge’ of next Congress

U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., who could not be shamed out of office after he was busted for reportedly having a sexual relationship with a Chinese honeypot suspected of being a Beijing spy, seems to understand that his only hope of being relevant today is by attacking Republicans with over-the-top rhetoric that is lapped up by the liberal media.

Such is politics in post-Obama America, where a left-wing zealot like Swalwell can go on national TV and — allegedly — loudly pass gas on air and still get reelected by Democratic voters by a clip of nearly 70%. In an age such as this, where Washington D.C., is full of stooges and corruption abounds, America’s best hope may be to go full circle to our beginning and refocus on states’ power.

Nonetheless, back to our shameless hero, Swalwell appeared on MSNBC, which appears to do double duty these days as a Democratic campaign operation, to take a shot at Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., who is expected to be the next speaker of the House in January, barring some major revelation, by playing the extremist card. According to Swalwell, U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., will really be the next speaker.

“Just listening to her ridiculous comments, it does kind of sound like she’s saying they would have upped the violence and used the Second Amendment which means there would have been more violence against your friends, the police officers who protected the Capitol, many who got hurt,” said the angry race lady Joy Reid, in setting up her Democratic ally. “What do you make of her and the man who wants to be speaker as her partner?”

“Marjorie Taylor Greene is going to be in charge in a few weeks because Kevin McCarthy struck a corrupt bargain with her so that he can be speaker,” Swalwell replied on cue. “And so he is going to allow under their tent, somebody who has this fever dream of an armed insurrection that’s successful against the U.S. Capitol.”

His next remarks prove that the left can say anything on MSNBC, level whatever outlandish allegations they want against the opposition, and Comcast will sign off on it.

“She didn’t say she was embarrassed or disappointed or disgusted by what happened at the U.S. Capitol, if anything she was embarrassed and disgusted that it failed and that she, if she was one of the lieutenants, would have ensured that it would have succeeded,” Swalwell spewed. “But Kevin McCarthy — he cannot — without her and so the fear here, the risk for our country is that we are lurching into this era where violence will be preferred over voting because Republicans know that what they actually believe in is not popular.”

Ironically, the most extreme elements in the history of the Democratic Party have been successful to some degree in painting Republicans as extremists for opposing things like drag queens shaking their nearly naked behinds in the face of children, and few on the right have taken as many spears here as Greene, who riled up the pearl-clutching left once again with a recent comment about Jan. 6.

“And next thing you know, I organized the whole thing, along with Steve Bannon. I will tell you something, if Steve Bannon and I organized that, we would have won. Not to mention, it would’ve been armed,” Greene said while speaking at the New York Young Republican Club in New York City over the weekend.

In addition to Greene exuding confidence in her own abilities and reflecting her support for the Second Amendment, the GOP lawmaker was also mocking the left’s claim that a protest that got out of hand was an “insurrection” AND an early claim that she was among a group of Republicans allegedly giving the insurrectionists reconnaissance tours of the Capitol the day before the riot.

While the media jumped all over her remarks about an armed insurrection, they largely ignored her follow-up remark.

“See that’s the whole joke, isn’t it,” Greene continued. “They say that whole thing was planned and I’m like, are you kidding me? A bunch of conservatives, Second Amendment supporters went in the Capitol without guns, and they think that we organized that?”

In effect, she was refuting their baseless allegations… but then, the ends justify the means cabal on the left already knew that.
