Those who follow sports understand there are few “commentators” out there who are as insufferable as Skip Bayless, whose one true relevance in the sports world is his ability to create controversy by saying the most outlandish things.
Bayless pairs up with former NFL player Shannon Sharpe on FS1’s “Undisputed,” and the two regularly go at it, but Monday’s show got a little more heated than usual during a discussion about Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady, who is without question the greatest to ever play the position. Brady is also 45, and it’s mindboggling that he can still perform at a high level — which wasn’t the case on Sunday as his team took a drubbing in losing to the San Francisco 49ers 35-7.
Brady’s performance was being discussed on “Undisputed” when Bayless suddenly made it personal for his partner, who is an NFL Hall of Famer.
“This is just straight hate by a guy who’s jealous that [Brady’s] still playing at a high level at 45 when you had to stop at 35,” Bayless fumed.

“‘That’s what you do. Every time I call something into question, I get it,” Sharpe fired back, highly irritated at his partner’s insinuation. “I did what I did! You make it seem like I was a bum! I’m in the effin’ Hall of Fame. I got three Super Bowls!”
To get a feel for the level of banter that can be expected from Bayless, he replied, “So what? He’s way better than you were.”
That remark sent Sharpe over the edge as he raged about Bayless, who was busy talking over him, making it personal.
“Time out!” Sharpe screamed, throwing his glasses down onto the table. “You’re willing to take a personal shot at me, to say he’s better than me, because I say he’s playing bad this year?”
After saying Sharpe’s criticism of Brady was “disrespectful” and beneath his “dignity,” Bayless concluded, “I’ll support him over anybody because he’s the greatest player who ever played your game and it’s by far.”
In the end, the exchange resulted in plenty of entertaining reactions online, which is what the show’s all about. Right?

“You would disrespect me to defend him.” That’s never a good thing to hear from anyone especially two friends. This might be headed different directions

Skip don’t even understand how lame this was . You’re willing to jeopardize your friendship over Brady who doesn’t know or acknowledge Skip . When all Shannon did was critique Brady’s play. For someone to never have played a professional sport he got way ahead of his self here .
