Elon Musk destroys ‘woke’ left Twitter narrative with slides showing hate speech DOWN since $44B buyout

Despite claims otherwise from the establishment press, Twitter owner Elon Musk says the proliferation of so-called “hate speech” on Twitter is on the decline.

The billionaire ostensibly proved this Saturday night by sharing slides from a “Twitter company talk,” including one slide depicting “hate speech impressions.”

The “hate speech impressions” chart in particular showed that while so-called “hate speech” peaked earlier this year, it’s now on the decline.

Look:

Musk’s slides contradict the claims trotted out by the media and its collection of so-called “experts” who more often than not are just far-left activists.

“Experts” like those at the so-called partisan Center for Countering Digital Hate, a far-left British nonprofit that aims to silence all dissenting speech.

In a post published on Nov. 10th, the far-left non-profit sought to “fact-check” Musk’s claim that Twitter’s “strong commitment to content moderation remains absolutely unchanged.”

“In the face of criticism about a recent rise of hateful language on Twitter, Elon Musk claimed that Twitter’s ‘strong commitment to content moderation remains absolutely unchanged.’ He also claimed that, at times last week, hateful speech declined to ‘below our prior norms,'” the post reads.

“And yet … analysis of data from the social media analytics tool Brandwatch shows that the week in question saw an uptick in the amount of hateful language being tweeted. Brandwatch counts retweets and quote retweets in these figures,” it continues.

The analysis found that the use of racial- and gender-related slurs for that specific were up between as little as 23 percent and as high as 67 percent.

The establishment press subsequently seized on this report and used it to fear-monger to the public about all the “hate” that was being  promoted on Twitter.

Twitter came under attack again this week when the European Union released its own data claiming that it “took longer to review hateful content and removed less of it in 2022 compared with the previous year,” as reported by the Associated Press.

“The EU report, carried out over six weeks in the spring, found Twitter assessed just over half of the notifications it received about illegal hate speech within 24 hours, down from 82% in 2021. … The amount of hate speech Twitter removed after it was flagged up slipped to 45.4% from 49.8% the year before,” according to the AP.

Part of the problem with all these reports is that there’s no clear definition of what constitutes so-called “hate speech.” And more often than not, what’s classified as so-called “hate speech” are just dissenting thoughts and ideas.

For instance, earlier this year Facebook, another social media network, censored Sen. Marsha Blackburn, a Republican, after she published a post that pithily stated that “[b]iological men have no place in women’s sports.”

Published to Blackburn’s personal Facebook page, the post wound up being removed by Facebook on the grounds that it didn’t follow the social media network’s widely criticized “Community Standards on hate speech.”

The senator was not pleased by this act of censorship.

“Big Tech and the Democrats are colluding to radically transform America. They want to silence and censor conservatives for speaking out against their woke agenda. It does not take a biologist to know the difference between a man and a woman, and I will not be silenced or threatened by Silicon Valley oligarchs. Biological men have no place in women sports,” she said in a statement to Fox News.

It’s presumed that when Musk talks about “hate speech,” he means genuinely hateful content like slurs and especially violent threats.

As for the media and their “experts,” on the other hand, so-called “hate speech” very often — though not always — just refers to dissenting ideas.

And indeed, prior to Musk’s purchase of Twitter, back when the social media network was run by far-leftists whose ideology mirrors that of the media, those with dissenting ideas were frequently suspended for allegedly spouting “hate speech.”

In March, for example, the Babylon Bee, a satirical news site, was suspended on Twitter for accurately describing Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine as a biological male.

A few months late in late June, renowned psychiatrist Dr. Jordan Peterson was suspended when he talked about how actress Ellen Page, who now identifies as a “transgender male,” had “had her breasts removed by a criminal physician.”

The media and their “experts” would greatly prefer it if Twitter were to return to the days when dissenting ideas were treated as “hate speech.” And because Musk refuses to bend the knee, they can’t help but incessantly attack him and his social media network.
