NBC produces poll claiming record number of Republicans support party over Trump. Who’s buying it?

Just two days before the midterm elections, NBC News miraculously came up with a poll that claims a record number of Republicans support the party over former President Trump who is allegedly prepping to announce his run for the presidency in 2024.

Fear concerning the outcome of the elections on Tuesday is palpable on the left. They have now entered into what appears to be full-blown panic over it.

Enter NBC News with their latest poll that attempts to show support for a massively popular Trump waning just before he announces his candidacy once again for the presidency. What a coincidence.

According to the poll, which whiffs of propaganda, 62 percent of Republicans see themselves as supporters of the GOP rather than supporters of Trump. It contends that 30 percent of Republicans are steadfast supporters of Trump rather than the party overall. Rounding things out, 4 percent of Republicans say they support both equally.

NBC News claims that their polling shows that support for the former president has been declining over the last two years. That flies directly in the face of reality according to many out there.

This is nothing new for NBC News and it seems no one bought their claims previously either except the leftist media and Democrats.

“In an August 2021 NBC News poll, about 50 percent of Republicans said they supported the party over Trump and 40 percent said they supported Trump over the party. When Trump left office in January 2021, Republicans were evenly split at 46 percent. In January 2019, 51 percent supported Trump over the party, and 38 percent vice versa,” The Hill reported.

The Republican nomination for its presidential candidate in 2024 is widely seen as Trump’s for the taking despite what you hear in the media. Trump’s popularity does not seem to have diminished. His one real contender, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, shows no intention of running in 2024 and is set on a second term as the Sunshine State’s governor.

Predictably, leftist polls have been attempting to sow division in the Republican Party non-stop. In October, they came up with a poll showing more Republicans trusting DeSantis than they trust Trump.

Now, with Trump thought to possibly announce his candidacy as early as Nov. 14 according to Axios, Politico is stepping up to the plate, trotting out Republican mega-donor Ken Griffin, who is the head of Citadel, an investment firm, and is a huge fan of DeSantis. He reportedly said that it was “time to move on to the next generation.”

This is a man who has donated to Democrats and Republicans… from those on the left such as former President Obama and Rahm Emanuel to former Senator John McCain on the right.

The media is breathlessly claiming that a growing number of Republicans don’t want Trump as the nominee. They claim Republicans want to focus on issues such as the economy rather than whether the 2020 election was stolen or not. But many conservatives appear to want to address both and election fraud is a huge concern for them.

Trump is still drawing thousands to his rallies and his overwhelming popularity is hard to deny. He propelled many successful candidates forward during the midterm elections and stands to have massive backing in the House and Senate if he retakes the presidency.
