Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly clobbered The New York Times on Twitter for accusing her of spreading misinformation over the brutal attack on Paul Pelosi, telling them “it’s called journalism” and to “grow up.”
The leftist outlet ran a piece on Saturday that listed “elected officials and candidates” as well as “prominent figures” who had “spread misinformation or cast doubt on the attack,” including Kelly. They accused her, saying she “Raised doubts that all facts were being disclosed.”
Among those listed by the New York Times were Kelly, Glenn Beck, Tucker Carlson, Dinesh D’Souza, Ryan Fournier, Sebastian Gorka, Pete Hegseth, and Elon Musk.
Kelly, who has an incredibly successful podcast, is no wallflower. She clapped back at the Old Gray Lady via Twitter on Monday, tweeting, “The NYT lists me as a spreader of misinfo re the P Pelosi attack bc I ‘raised doubts that all facts were being disclosed.’ It’s called JOURNALISM. SFPD clearly has more to disclose but if u ask for it, you’re a ‘misinfo’ spreader like @Miguelnbc. Grow up, NYT & DO YOUR JOB.”

“We are learning more about who the intruder was, but many questions remain about the circumstances of the crime, which police have been fairly tight-lipped about and actually contradictory as well,” Kelly noted during her podcast on October 31. She’s standing by that assertion.
She went on to thrash the media, claiming they were “rushing to make this about right-wing political violence, and not just that, not just right-wing political violence, this is about January 6, don’t you know? This is about January 6, like everything needs to be for the Democrats today; not homelessness, not crime, not mental illness, January 6; back to that. They will use it for all it’s worth and then some.”

“I feel like at a minimum, the SFPD has egg on its face because even under the most generous story to Paul Pelosi and to the San Francisco police, they were in the house when this guy attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer,” Kelly explained during that same interview.
“I’m not sure how that happened. How do you have police officers on site and an 82-year-old gets attacked with a hammer in front of you when you have a gun as a police officer? It’s one of the many questions here,” she pointed out.
“Let’s see it all,” Kelly said, “I don’t know what went on. I know enough to smell a rat. There’s something going on here that they’re not telling us. I just don’t know what it is.”

The New York Times attempted to disparage conservatives for questioning the police on the Pelosi attack in the article as well.
“The flood of falsehoods showed how ingrained misinformation has become inside the G.O.P., where the reflexive response of the rank and file — and even a few prominent figures — to anything that might cast a negative light on the right is to deflect with more fictional claims, creating a vicious cycle that muddies facts, shifts blame and minimizes violence. It happened after the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, which was inspired by Mr. Trump’s lie of a stolen election, and in turn, gave rise to more falsehoods …” the outlet viciously wrote.
The NYT has no idea what journalism entails.

“The press has gone deep, dark down the rabbit hole about trying to say, ‘This is all about January 6’ because the lunatic’s latest iteration of craziness was focused on some QAnon theories, things along those lines, notwithstanding his BLM flag and his LGBTQ flag out in front of it,” Kelly noted, referring to Pelosi’s alleged unstable attacker.
