Twitter employees send letter to Musk demanding they keep their jobs, pick winners and losers, retain all benefits
In a suicidal, self-entitled move, Twitter employees have reportedly sent a letter to their soon-to-be new boss Elon Musk demanding that they keep their jobs after he allegedly threatened to fire nearly 75 percent of the staff on the social media platform.

Musk is expected to complete his acquisition of Twitter on Friday and he will then ostensibly begin to clean house. Word has it that Meta and Google are snapping up Twitter’s employees as they head for the door preemptively before being canned, according to Business Insider.
The letter started making the rounds on the internet Monday, according to Fox News. It lists the demands of the employees who are insisting that he commit to keeping the current number of employees on Twitter’s payroll once he takes the helm.
They also had the utter gall to order the Tesla CEO to not discriminate against employees based on their political beliefs, commit to “fair” severance policies, and be transparent concerning the company’s working conditions.
The letter was mocked on Twitter, as it should be. People took aim at the abject privilege and entitlement that the social media platform’s employees believe they possess.
Also can I just offer my services to personally go in and fire these people? I will charge zero dollars and zero cents to do it.

The demands kicked off by alleging Musk’s plans for Twitter are a “threat” not only to employees and the company but to the “public conversation” as well.
“We, the undersigned Twitter workers, believe the public conversation is in jeopardy. Elon Musk’s plan to lay off 75% of Twitter workers will hurt Twitter’s ability to serve the public conversation. A threat of this magnitude is reckless, undermines our users’ and customers’ trust in our platform, and is a transparent act of worker intimidation,” they charged.
It goes on to say that Musk’s proposals “threaten our livelihoods, access to essential healthcare, and the ability for visa holders to stay in the country they work in.”
“We cannot do our work in an environment of constant harassment and threats. Without our work, there is no Twitter,” they arrogantly asserted.

Then came the demands, beginning with “Respect: We demand leadership to respect the platform and the workers who maintain it by committing to preserving the current headcount.”
The woke soon-to-be unemployed leftists continued, “Safety: We demand that leadership does not discriminate against workers on the basis of their race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.”
Next up was “Protection: We demand Elon Musk explicitly commit to preserve our benefits, those both listed in the merger agreement and not (e.g. remote work). We demand leadership to establish and ensure fair severance policies for all workers before and after any change in ownership.”
Wrapping up their ridiculous demands, the letter stated, “Dignity: We demand transparent, prompt, and thoughtful communication around our working conditions. We demand to be treated with dignity, and to not be treated as mere pawns in a game played by billionaires.”
Conservatives had a ball with the childish demands of those who get a paycheck from the person who actually owns the business. Pitching a fit like this is not conducive to holding on to your job.
“@Twitter employees are so entitled & unaccustomed to accountability, they’ve sent a letter to the OWNER of the co. with a litany of ‘demands.’ That’s not how life works. If I wanted to keep my job, I’d be working to make it clear to @elonmusk how much value I bring to the co,” commentator Jason Howerton informed the infantile employees.

National Review podcast co-host Jeffrey Blehar hit it out of the park, tweeting, “That ‘open letter’ from Twitter employees demanding (not requesting, DEMANDING) they not only not be fired but given more control over internal HR policy AND the entire global public discourse…man, that’s something else. Maybe Elon should aim for an 80% target instead.”

Marine and author Dave Ross snarked, “No no no… THIS is 2022. employees tell the bosses what they’re doing wrong and you gotta do it MY way or else.”
Others just couldn’t resist – it was savage:
Twitter employees six months ago: "If Elon buys Twitter I'm quitting!"
Twitter employees now: "Firing us is wreckless!"

That open letter to Elon Musk from Twitter employees reads exactly like what you would expect from a group of safe space censorship toddlers who have never been told no in their lives.

Twitter has been acting a bit nervous lately. Lots of bans, a lot of propaganda pushing, and that letter to Elon begging for leniency. I wonder where the Twitter staff will work once they're fired 😂

Twitter, sent a letter to Elon, begging for their jobs, stating how important their roles are for the Future of Twitter, saying that they are demanding respect… What a ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!

If there was an awards show for Hypocrisy, this Twitter staff letter would have to be in the running for most ironic statement of 2022. #TwitterStaffFail https://t.co/zB6cXMc8ZE

I have to say this….
It's incredibly satisfying to read a DEMAND letter by @Twitter employees demanding they keep their jobs, and not be DISCRIMINATED against for POLITICAL PREFERENCE.The pendulum ALWAYS swings. They hilariously think THEY run the company. U get what u give!

If I were @elonmusk, the first people I’d fire at Twitter are the ones who wrote or signed this letter.

Apparently the babies at Twitter wrote a letter demanding that Musk promise not to fire them because of their political beliefs.
