The expectation for the midterm elections has remained in favor of the GOP as voter turnout will likely reflect a referendum on President Joe Biden and the progressive agenda.
So when Marcus Flowers, the Democrat challenger to incumbent Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), resorted to recycling the narrative on Jan. 6 in lieu of debating the issues, the congresswoman unloaded, setting forth that she too “was a victim” that day.

Sunday, the Atlanta Press Club began their three-day Loudermilk-Young Debate Series from Georgie Public Broadcasting with a slate of state and federal election debates. This included the matchup of Greene and Flowers during which there were several heated moments revolving around the issues that Democrats have clung to going into November.
After Flowers attempted to malign Greene for her position regarding the results of the 2020 presidential election, the Georgia lawmaker lashed out with a quick reminder, framing her experience when the Capitol was breached.
“I need a rebuttal to that. You cannot accuse me of insurrection,” she asserted. “I was a victim of the January 6 riots just as much as any other member of Congress. That was the third day I had on the job, I had nothing to do with what happened there that day and I will not have you accuse me of that.”
“That is wrong of you to do,” Greene leveled, “you’re lying about me and you will not defame my character in that manner.”
Weaker than his initial comments, Flowers fired back with the favored piety test of the left and asked, “Did Joe Biden win the election, Congresswoman Greene?”
Despite Greene responding affirmatively that, “Joe Biden is the president of the United States, Marcus,” the Democrat challenger moved forward with his accusation that the legislator was responsible for wrongdoing that occurred while the 2020 presidential election was being certified, “Absolutely, but you pushed a big lie that said he did not win the election and you drove those people to the Capitol on January 6 with your lies.”
“My husband has the proof of it. We have FOIA evidence of proof of election fraud that came out,” Greene concluded before another question was raised.
This was not the only fiery moment of the debate as the congresswoman pressed Flowers on another hill Democrats have chosen to die on heading into the midterms, the alleged grooming of children.

“Marcus, you’re a father, and you are a representative of the Democrat Party,” she began before hammering home what that means. “The Democrat Party is the party of child abuse. It’s the party that represents grooming children and sexualizing them in school, teaching anti-white racism in the terms of CRT education, and genital mutilation of kids, kids that can’t even get a driver’s license, can’t get a tattoo, and cannot vote.”
“How do you stand there and represent the Democrat Party as a father? And do you believe in genital mutilation of children under the age of 18 and these puberty blockers that have severe health consequences?” Greene asked before touching on her introduction of the “Protect Children’s Innocence Act.”
“Because I’ve introduced a bill to ban it and make it a felony to mutilate children’s genitals. Do you stand by that?” she pressed.
When confronted with the harsh realities of what America’s youth is having foisted upon him, as evidenced repeatedly at school board meetings across the country, Flowers was left with seeking another attack on the lawmaker’s character and replied, “Wow. That was a lot, and God bless you, Marjorie Taylor Greene. If you truly believe that, then I’m praying for you.”
The congresswoman was as unrelenting on this matter as she was on others and insisted, “Kids need to grow up. They do not need to have mastectomies, castration, or take dangerous drugs that have serious health consequences. Marcus Flowers represents the Democrat Party and the Democrat Party is the party of child abuse and we have to stand up and stop it right now to protect children–we protect them from making serious mistakes that will last a lifetime.”
