President Joe Biden’s “demonstrated mental decline,” as characterized by the Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway, is a growing concern, even though the same corporate media that’s largely responsible for the soon-to-be 80-year-old Democrat being in office ignores the story.
But it’s getting harder and harder to look the other way, as seen on Wednesday when late-night comedian Trevor Noah mocked the president for calling out for U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Ind., during a speech at the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health in Washington. Walorski was killed in a car accident a month ago and the White House issued a statement, purportedly from the president, on her death.
“I want to thank all of you here, including bipartisan elected officials like … Sen. Braun, Sen. Booker, Representative … Jackie, Jackie are you here?” Biden said earlier in the day, looking for the deceased congresswoman. “I think she was going to be here to help make this a reality… She must not be here.”
“Noooo! Nooo! Joe, what are you doing!” moaned Noah, host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. “So awkward.”
Keep in mind that the late-night comedian cabal now getting their rear-ends handed to them in the ratings game by Fox News’s Greg Gutfeld has been among the most staunch Joe Biden loyalists.
“And his explanation didn’t help. You know, it was like, of course, I knew Jackie was there. I was looking for Jackie Kennedy. Where’s Jackie Kennedy? Where are you, Jackie? Where’s Jackie O?” Noah joked. “Look, at least on the upside at least he noticed that she wasn’t there. This is a good thing. Yeah, could’ve been much [worse] if he was like ‘Where’s Jackie? There she is! There’s Jackie! Everyone look at Jackie! She’d be like ‘there’s no Jackie.’ She’s there, everybody sees Jackie!”
Noah would go on to reference Osama bin Laden while jokingly suggesting the gaffe “makes Biden a better president.”
“Think of how hard he must be working now to keep Americans safe knowing that Osama bin Laden is still out there somewhere,” the comedian said. “Where is he? Where is he, Jackie? Where is he?”
Noah appears to be an outlier here, though, as Hemingway pointed out in responding to a tweet about the media ignoring Biden’s embarrassing gaffe: “Our propaganda press is doing everything in its power to cover up an important story the American public has a right to know about Joe Biden’s demonstrated mental decline.”

In other news, Noah announced this week that after a seven-year tenure in taking over the program from Jon Stewart in 2015, he will be leaving the show.

“It’s been absolutely amazing,” the host said. “It’s something that I never expected, and I found myself thinking throughout the time, everything we’ve gone through: the Trump presidency, the pandemic, just the journey of — the more pandemic — and I realized that after the seven years, my time is up.”
