In a surreal “when pigs fly” moment, former FBI agent Peter Strzok claimed the bureau had “no choice” but to “reluctantly” investigate former President Trump is an online brouhaha that broke out after he responded to the reporting of New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman.
Haberman is not a conservative. The difference here is that she’s actually doing real reporting on what is going on and not selectively telling Americans what the left wants them to hear.
“The unsealed portions of the Trump search warrant affidavit underscored the degree to which Trump’s lawyers have been unable to fend off so far the ongoing effort by the DOJ to press ahead with an investigation,” she began in a thread on Twitter. “The Trump team and DOJ are speaking fundamentally different languages. To wit, a message sent by Trump through an intermediary to Garland about taking down ‘the heat’ left senior DOJ leadership befuddled,” she continued.
“In another example, the Trump team has conveyed that they quickly complied with a request to put a stronger lock on the door to a basement storage area. But the letter from DOJ says nothing about a lock and reads much more like a warning than a request,” Haberman continued, shockingly revealing actual details most of the media has just conveniently left out.
“The classified documents taken from the White House ‘have not been handled in an appropriate manner or stored in an appropriate location,’ the letter read. ‘Accordingly, we ask that the room at Mar-a-Lago where the documents had been stored be secured and that all of the boxes…’ she wrote on Twitter.

“…that were moved from the White House to Mar-a-Lago (along with any other items in that room) be preserved in that room in their current condition until further notice,” Haberman added.
“During the Aug. 8 search, the F.B.I. found additional documents in that area and also on the floor of a closet in Mr. Trump’s office, people briefed on the matter said,” she asserted.

Haberman’s factual reporting apparently ticked Strzok off.
“Stop it. This is wrong. The unsealed portions of the Trump SW underscore the unprecedented degree the govt repeatedly tried to accommodate the lawless behavior of Trump, extending him courtesies no one else has ever enjoyed. Reluctantly, DOJ had no choice but to investigate,” he said, slamming the New York Times reporter.

Political commentator Mike Cernovich earned the wrath of Strzok and an argument between the two quickly ensued.
“The only conviction resulting from FISA related matters was when a high level FBI lawyer pled guilty to fabricating evidence in a warrant application,” Cernovich wrote.
Strzok replied, “False.”

Cernovich fired back, “It’s absolutely true. Mueller went through everyone’s life with a fine tooth comb. No Russia stuff. Michael Cohen was caught for tax evasion in the medallion scam. Manafort was tax issue. Kevin Clinesmith, your FBI colleague, fabricated evidence in a FISA warrant. Facts.”
Showing just how bad his week was progressing, a desperate Strzok clapped back, “It’s absolutely false. Trump’s DNI declassified conversations with the Russians that his national security advisor plead guilty (twice) to making false statements about. While pardoned, he is – and forever will be – a convicted felon. Facts.”

The tweet being a reference to former Gen. Mike Flynn, who many believe was set up by disgraced former FBI Director James Comey.
Either way, conservatives had no sympathy for Strzok and were wholly unimpressed with his so-called “facts”:
Do you also remember having your phone wiped to destroy evidence of your illegal collusion and spying activities?

Everything out of this traitor’s mouth is a lie, all his tweets are lies, including the punctuation.

And for the sake of Twitter being emotionally-charged, let’s hit the low-lying fruit: remember when you cheated on your wife?
— Chef Andrew Gruel (@ChefGruel) August 29, 2022
dawg you and @NatSecLisa had the all time most pathetic possible texts for people cheating on their spouses
If you’re going to lie to the public in the same way you both lied to your spouses, try to spice it up a bit, okay?

From Big Lie #1 (Russia collusion is a hoax) to Big Lie #2 (Election stolen) to Big Lie #3 (Documents exonerate Big Lie #1 & #2). It’s all they have, and it works for their base, so no reason for them to change their playbook at this point.
