The Blaze’s Jason Whitlock tore into Barstool Sport’s Dave Portney, calling him a “fraud” who pretends to be masculine, and Portnoy, doing an impressive impression of a 10-year-old, called him “fat” over it.
Whitlock wrote a piece at The Blaze on Tuesday nailing Portnoy over his many, many vile and obscene proclivities.
“Dave Portnoy and Andrew Tate are the Al Capone and Lucky Lucciano of masculinity prohibition. Portnoy and Tate bootleg moonshine masculinity across the Internet,” the sports and political commentator wrote, torching Portnoy. “Their wealth and fame are byproducts of America’s misguided masculinity temperance movement.”
“Portnoy built a sports media empire pretending to be a fearless ESPN disruptor standing against the wokefication of sports and American culture. It’s now clear he’s a total fraud and sellout. His lone interests are money and access to barely legal women. He sold Barstool to a gambling company for hundreds of millions of dollars, and now Barstool is every bit as woke as ESPN,” Whitlock continued.
“If we weren’t living in an era completely hostile to masculinity, Portnoy would be broke in Boston delivering pizza. The prohibition of masculinity is what made heroes and millionaires of men like Portnoy and Tate,” he tweeted.
Dave Portnoy, El Presidente, is a fraud. He has no redeeming qualities other than his wealth. Remove his money, and he wouldn’t have a friend in this world. “Monday night, Portnoy engaged in a Twitter beef with comedian Alex Stein, a truly fearless internet disruptor. Stein, a contributor to BlazeTV, mocks local and national politicians – of all political parties – with viral videos. Barstool’s Twitter feed posted a hilarious video of Stein trolling members of the Las Vegas City Council. Within hours, Barstool deleted the post,” Whitlock noted.
“It’s so cute that @barstoolsports is owned by @stoolpresidente who is accused of the most heinous things, but they are too afraid to keep my content up,” Stein tweeted.
“Buddy shut the f*** up. We are owned by a gambling company. We’ve had roughly 9,000 training sessions not to post sh*t like this cause regulators don’t like it… Go back to whatever hole you crawled out of,” Portnoy fired back.
The exchange was enlightening.

Portnoy answered Whitlock a few hours later on Twitter, making his lack of intellect obvious.

Portnoy then dredged up an older video where Whitlock praised him as perhaps one of the most important current figures in sports and attempted to weaponize it against him. He failed at that but excelled at being obscene.
By the way @WhitlockJason you forgot to delete this one when you almost choked to death on my cock pic.twitter.com/gDdufZeaA0

Whitlock stated that he had lost all respect for Portnoy. He accused Portnoy and others of selling out.
“I used to be a big fan of Howard Stern’s. He sold out, too. That’s what people with no compass besides money do. Colin Kaepernick was my favorite quarterback. I could go on forever about things and people I used to support. People sellout, I move on,” Whitlock tweeted.
.@alexstein99 “He's rooting for my demise so if I'm the villain in his biography, I don't mind playing that role. I love professional wrestling, I'll be the Stone Cold Steve Austin to Dave Portnoy.” pic.twitter.com/yZpiuh5GLt

Portnoy issued a narcissistic statement of epic proportions, once again referring to Whitlock’s weight.

For Immediate Release – Alex’s Response to Dave, the Last American Hero pic.twitter.com/wTVDSgWzqe
— Alex Stein #99 (@alexstein99) August 24, 2022
“Our country is falling apart. It seems that every day we are at each other’s throats, screaming our opinions into our own personal echo chambers, looking for validation that we’re right and ignoring anyone who says we’re wrong. The left hates the right. The right hates the left. But one hero stands above it all. That hero is David S. Portnoy,” he wrote.
“While everyone else whines and screams, David ‘The Last True American’ Portnoy helps small businesses, fights the corrupt suits of Wall Street, and runs a billion dollar company that he built brick by brick. One could make an argument that Portnoy has done more to help out Americans these last few years than Congress has. Meanwhile Fat Jason Whitlock stuffs his face with food,” Portnoy insultingly stated.
He also claimed the left hates him for not being “politically correct,” while the right hates him for not being able to “co-opt” him.
Whitlock had the last word in his article and it reverberates in eternity, “The third wave has brought us Portnoy and Tate. Internet bullies posing as masculine men. Their success has spawned imitators. The next iteration will be worse.”
