A busload of illegal immigrants who were on their way to the East Coast from Texas caused a problem during a rest stop in Chattanooga, Tenn., when some began hitting up customers at a local McDonald’s for money, spurring an employee to call the police.
“I had to get the police to remove them from the premises, which they turn and started sitting over at the gas station. After that we haven’t seen them for a while,” Nyree Jones, the employee who phoned police told Chattanooga ABC affiliate WTVC.
“The two young ones kept on going from here to there getting money from people and they got dropped off and they’re trying to go to Florida,” Jones said, referring to children from the bus who were allegedly pestering customers.
The buses, which have been transporting the migrants from Texas to Washington, D.C. and New York City have been stopping at a Comfort Inn & Suites, a spokesperson for the Chattanooga Police Department told the outlet.
Buses from Texas continue to relocate the human cargo to the deep blue cities, a matter that has infuriated D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and NYC Mayor Eric Adams with both Democrats pleading for help from the Biden administration. Like other party members, they have championed illegal immigration but when it is their own resources that are being strained by the influx of non-citizens, they are singing a different tune.
Adams has publicly clashed with Texas Governor Greg Abbott, threatening to begin busing New Yorkers to the Lone Star State, something that Abbott likened to Fidel Castro sending Cubans to Miami in an escalating war of words between the two.

Bowser has been completely hysterical over the relocation of the migrants to the nation’s capital and has been begging for the deployment of the National Guard to help.
In Tennessee, Chattanooga isn’t the only location where the illegals have been spotted.
According to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office, “After receiving a call that tour buses were dropping off illegal immigrants at the Pilot in Rising Fawn, Sheriff Cross responded to the truck stop and immediately observed a tour bus which appeared to be dropping off subjects at that location.”
“Sheriff Cross approached the subjects and found that the bus was transporting illegal immigrants from Texas, en route to Washington, DC. The bus driver advised that this was one of their stops along their route, and several illegal immigrants had already decided to get off the bus and end their trip in Rising Fawn. Based off Sheriff Cross’ conversation with the bus driver, it appeared as if the illegal immigrants were being encouraged to exit the bus at this location, with the impression that Chattanooga was within walking distance,” the agency posted to its Facebook page.
“Sheriff Cross immediately contacted state legislators, as well as the governor’s office, and made them aware of the situation,” the post states.
“He got a translator and the migrants told him they were being dropped off within walking distance of Chattanooga, Tennessee,” said Chad Payne of the Dade County Sheriff’s Office.
“These people could be excellent people, they could enhance our community, but they could not be as well so there’s no telling, you know, it’s just a sad situation,” he added.
