Following New York City Mayor Eric Adams threatening to send New Yorkers to Texas in a tit-for-tat move after Governor Greg Abbott bused illegal immigrants to the Big Apple, the Texas Republican is daring him to “make my day.”

The Texas firebrand smacked Adams on Tuesday after Adams made his threat during a press conference, stating, “I already called all of my friends in Texas and told them how to cast their vote, and I am deeply contemplating taking a busload of New Yorkers to go to Texas and do some good old-fashioned door knocking because, for the good of America, we have to get him out of office.”

Abbott remarked on “The Faulkner Focus” on Fox News Wednesday after being asked how he is responding to Adams’ threat, “You know, I kinda feel like Clint Eastwood… go ahead mayor, make my day.”
“There could hardly be anything better than to aid my campaign against Beto O’Rourke than to have Beto O’Rourke have his campaign aided by a bunch of New Yorkers. It will not be viewed very positively in the state of Texas. Candidly the only thing better than that is what has already occurred, and that is Beto has received a million dollars from George Soros,” the Republican added.
Adams didn’t take long to respond, “Well, first of all, I know he thinks he’s Clint Eastwood, but he’s not. He is an anti-American governor that is really going against everything we stand for. And I am going to do everything feasible to make sure the people of Texas realize how harmful he is to us globally.”
“He’s a global embarrassment because this is not what we do as Americans, all of us,” he said according to Fox News. “And I’m sure if he goes into his lineage, he came from somewhere and if his ancestors were treated the way he’s treated these asylum seekers and migrants, then he would not be where he is right now.”

The war of words between the two political leaders has been steadily escalating since a few busloads of illegal immigrants arrived in New York City with Adams declaring it a catastrophe. His comments are laughable considering the thousands of illegal immigrants that stream over the Texas border every day inundating towns that are minuscule compared to New York City.
The leftist mayors of New York City and Washington, DC are furious at the governors of Texas and Arizona who are transporting illegal aliens to the sanctuary cities’ doorsteps.
“Because of high taxes, out-of-control crime, and poor leadership by the mayor, people are volunteering to leave New York City without the mayor asking,” Abbott campaign spokesperson Mark Miner told Fox News Digital in an interview. “It looks like Mayor Adams has taken on the additional role of political director for [Democratic candidate] Beto O’Rourke.”

The latest volley of threats came just hours before three more buses arrived in New York City on Wednesday morning. Adams is apoplectic over it. Abbott is almost giddy over the left coming unglued just before the midterm elections.
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is also having conniption fits and called the situation a humanitarian crisis as illegal immigrants were delivered to the US Capitol. She requested the deployment of the National Guard which the Pentagon turned down.
The governors of Arizona and Texas don’t feel any sympathy for the leftist mayors in DC and New York City. They contend President Biden and Democratic policies are to blame concerning open borders and illegal immigration and therefore they should experience what border states are going through every day.
There have been over 200,000 migrant encounters a month over the last four months on the border, according to Fox News.

Abbott began busing illegal immigrants to DC in April and then started sending them to New York City. He is making his point and now the left is beside itself that they are having to deal with a few illegal immigrants compared to the thousands Texas and Arizona are having to handle.
“Washington D.C. finally understands what Texans have been dealing with every single day, as our communities are overrun and overwhelmed by thousands of illegal immigrants thanks to President Biden’s open border policies,” Abbott’s office said via a statement.
Abbott stated on Friday that New York City “is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city.”

NYC Mayor Eric Adams is upset about the most recent bus sent of illegal migrants sent to him from Texas Governor Abbott.
Maybe if Governor Abbott sent them on planes in the middle of the night like Biden did, Adams wouldn't get so upset.

On Sunday, another bus arrived in New York City, with a meager 40 illegal immigrants on board. Only 14 of them disembarked.
Abbott is also threatening to send illegal immigrants to other leftist cities while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is reportedly considering sending them to President Biden’s home state of Delaware.
