Military scientist dupes colleague into hiring ‘really hot’ hooker on Air Force base so he can cheat on wife

A married military scientist allegedly duped a colleague into hiring his “really hot” hooker “girlfriend” at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base so he could continue his affair with her without the wife getting wind of it.

Dr. James Gord was a senior US Air Force hypersonic missile scientist at Spectral Energies. He allegedly tricked his supervisor CEO Sukesh Roy into hiring the 32-year-old prostitute as an administrative technician to sit on a top military research team.

The woman in question was Amanda F. Savino. Gord was paying her $400 an hour for her on-the-side services using a government charge card.

She was put on a team that was ostensibly tasked with developing hypersonic jet engines and rockets in 2017, according to a warrant obtained by The Daily Beast.

The warrant said Gord told his supervisor that he had “recently met a young professional while on a flight to Washington, DC [identified as Savino] and was very impressed with how she presented herself.”

The woman was wholly unqualified to be a part of the team. She reportedly had no knowledge of physics or engineering. She evidently couldn’t even fathom a word processor. However, she did have other talents and they were in demand, according to The Daily Beast.

Savino allegedly slept with a number of scientists at the base. One even paid her $20,000 a year to clean his apartment while naked before engaging in oral sex with him.

Gord told Roy he thought Savino would be a “good fit” for Spectral Energies, and that she had given him a resume of her accomplishments which included a degree in biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, and qualifications from the University of Cincinnati medical school.

“Gord highly encouraged Roy to hire Savino, speaking favorably of Savino’s technical expertise,” the warrant noted. “He then finished by stating ‘she’s also really hot.'”

After Savino was hired, her incompetence became immediately apparent, according to the warrant. Roy “quickly became frustrated with Savino’s lack of capability in the position.”

After she failed to provide her college transcripts, Roy discovered that her resume was falsified and that she possessed none of the qualifications she and Gord claimed she had.

When Roy confronted Gord about the revelation, he confessed to his relationship with Savino and that she “was a prostitute he met in Cincinnati, OH.”

When the duped supervisor attempted to boot Savino from the team. Gord lost it and threatened to kill the supervisor and himself. He never carried that out and eventually transferred the woman to another military contractor along with $150,000 in funding to pay for her salary.

“Gord then stated he would come to Building 5 with one of his many guns to ‘end it all,'” the warrant said. “Roy perceived this to mean that Gord would kill Roy and then himself.”

Gord’s government-issued laptop was revealing to investigators, to say the least. He had a list on there of at least 27 prostitutes he frequented while on government-funded trips. A number of those women are from countries that are considered enemies of the United States.

In addition to seizing electronic devices, agents found in Gord’s office women’s underwear, a box of Trojan condoms, and several empty bottles of erectile dysfunction medication.

The plot thickens. Gord, who told colleagues that he didn’t want his wife or family to find out about his sexual entanglements, inexplicably died under unknown circumstances in 2021, The Daily Beast reported.

The warrant that was served in 2019 was going after Gord for embezzlement. Investigators wanted a peek at his email account to prove he was dirty including charges of embezzlement/misuse of government property, false, fictitious, or fraudulent claims, ethnic intimidation, aggravated menacing, and extortion of officers or employees of the United States.

Savino was originally being investigated for false, fictitious, or fraudulent claims and prostitution near military and naval establishments. It is unknown exactly where her case stands.
