Father sues school for banning him from property after he exposed ‘hypersexual’ content in library

A Maine father filed suit against his woke local school board which banned him from district property after he complained about sexually explicit and transgender content filling the district’s library shelves.

After Shawn McBreairty received the criminal trespass notice for exposing the pornographic content, his attorneys filed a 20-page motion to dismiss the “frivolous lawsuit” that accused their client of bullying and harassing school officials.

“The First Amendment protects our ability to publicly criticize and petition our government, whether the government is embodied by the President of the United States, or a school district,” said First Amendment lawyer Marc Randazza. “This lawsuit should concern any American who thinks government should be accountable to the people and that the government should not be able to meet criticism with censorship.”

The court filings come after an April school board meeting where board members protested as McBreairty replayed a conversation he recorded between himself and Chairman Heath Miller because the dad’s descriptions of the passages included “vulgarity and obscenity” and claimed that the board had a policy against playing videos or recordings.

In other words, the board didn’t want to hear the father of two describing the content that they make available for children in the government-run school libraries because was too much for adults to handle in a public meeting.

In the recorded conversation you hear a man that sounds like Miller shake off McBreairty’s complaints as being out of “context” since he seems to believe that putting a colorful cover on explicit and seriously raunchy sex scenes is enough to make them school-age-appropriate.

“If you were to read it in the context of the whole book, it would have a different meaning,” Miller protested.

Towards the end of the age-restricted video of the interaction and recordings that McBreairty posted online, he includes photos of just a few of the offensive excerpts he was referencing so you can judge for yourself if the content is appropriate for school libraries.

In a social media post Friday, McBreairty posted photos of the pro-LBGTQ+ materials on display at Hermon High School in main, noting that one display promotes the existence of 63 genders as of last year.

“I’m not anti-LGBTQ,” the dad and podcast host explained to the Washington Free Beacon. “I’m not anti-anything, but when somebody tries to use our tax dollars to indoctrinate kids with hypersexual materials, to me, that’s nonsense.”

“Their program is to indoctrinate kids while they’re young without parental permission,” he said. “Don’t try to force that stuff on me or my daughters with my tax dollars.”
