Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a Democrat known for her anti-establishment takes, is again speaking out against the status quo — this time in regard to the establishment left’s attempts to obliterate biological sex.
“Denying the biological differences between men and women not only threatens women’s rights, it threatens our safety. Not only are we shutting women out of competitive sports, we are also shaming girls into silence in the face of abuse and harassment,” she tweeted early Sunday morning.
Attached to the tweet was a brief clip from a Newsmax appearance she’d made late last month.

The Newsmax clip was recorded on June 23rd, the same day that the Biden administration revealed its proposed Title IX changes.
Besides robbing young men of due process, the changes would also obliterate biological sex, thus allowing biological males who purport to be transgender to compete against biological women.
“For the first time, the rules would formally protect LGBTQ students under Title IX, making clear that ‘preventing someone from participating in school programs and activities consistent with their gender identity would cause harm in violation of Title IX,’ according to the department,” ESPN reported at the time.
June 23rd also coincided with the “Our Bodies, Our Sports” rally that, FYI, Gabbard attended:
During the Newsmax appearance, she explained her reason for attending the rally.
“When you see actions like those taken by the Biden administration today and a lot of the changes that we’ve seen that are essentially pointing to the erasure of women … I felt it was so important to stand with these brave athletes and their families today who came out really to say hey, yes, there are very clear differences and there are very negative consequences to the decisions that are being made by this administration, and others that are hurting girls and women,” she said.
She also explained why, just prior to her term expiring in late 2020, she herself had introduced a bill to protect women’s sports.
“I started to hear from parents. That was in December of 2020. We saw those girls in Connecticut who were racing against biological boys and who had been champions before and were now losing these races and essentially being told by these biological boys, run faster, essentially suck it up, train harder, when they knew that they had been training as hard as they possibly could and that there are physiological, biological differences between them and these biological boys,” she said.
“And so I joined with my Republican colleague and friend, Markwayne Mullin from Oklahoma, who by the way has three daughters who compete in wrestling and who understands as a father what is scary — [which] is if his daughters are forced to compete against biological boys. And so it was a very simple bill … and very directly sought simply to uphold the [original] intent of Title IX.”
Its original intent was simply to prohibit discrimination based on sex. However, the establishment left has over the years twisted and contorted Title IX to be something entirely different.

Women’s sports leagues were created so women could compete on a field without men.
Democrats are willing to throw Title IX out the window to advance their far-left agenda at the expense of women.

That being said, Gabbard isn’t the only Democrat who’s spoken out against this rewriting of Title IX. So have a few others, including Maud Maron, who’s running for a House seat representing New York’s 10th congressional district.
“We can protect trans people who certainly deserve a full complement of civil rights and protections under the law, while also not decimating girls and women’s sports or removing single-sex spaces where they ought to be,” she told station NY1’s “Inside City Hall” program last week.

For the most part, however, the Democrat Party has allied itself with the radical transgender movement, as evidenced by its adoption of the language.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who frequently uses terms like “pregnant people,” is a perfect example. FYI, there’s no such thing as “pregnant people.” There are only pregnant women …
