U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, who is one of two squishy Republicans sitting on the Jan. 6 committee, is claiming he received a letter a couple of days ago threatening to “execute” his family.
“Here is the letter. Addressed to my wife, sent to my home, threatening the life of my family,” the Illinois Republican tweeted out on Sunday, even though ABC News’ “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos said it was too dangerous and disturbing to show on-air.
Kinzinger would go on to tweet out the letter despite Stephanopoulos’ claims of dire consequences.
The purported threatening note was addressed to Sofia Kinzinger, the congressman’s wife, informing her, “That pimp you married not only broke his oath, he sold his soul.”
Here is the letter. Addressed to my wife, sent to my home, threatening the life of my family. The Darkness is spreading courtesy of cowardly leaders fearful of truth. Is the what you want @GOP? Pastors?

It continues by predicting that Kinzinger will be dispatched.
“Therefore, although it might take time, he will be executed. But don’t worry! You and Christian [the couple’s infant son] will be joining Adam in hell too!” the letter allegedly threatens.
Despite telling Stephanopoulos that the letter was received “this week,” no mention was made of reporting it to the police or if there was an ongoing investigation into the threat — the ABC News anchor did not inquire.
A spokesperson for Kinzinger later asserted his office had reported the threat and was “taking extra precautions for the Congressman’s family,” according to Business Insider.

Stephanopoulos gratuitously asked him if he feared for his life and his family’s safety.
“I’m not worried personally. This threat that came in, it was mailed to my house. We got it a couple of days ago and it threatens to execute me, as well as my wife and 5-month-old child. We’ve never seen or had anything like that. It was sent from the local area,” he claimed.
“I don’t worry — but now that I have a wife and kids, of course, it’s a little different,” Kinzinger noted attempting to engender sympathy from Stephanopoulos.
And, of course, he parlayed the presumed threat into a facet of the Jan. 6 inquisition, obviously referring to former President Donald Trump, declaring, “There’s violence in the future, I’m going to tell you. And until we get a grip on telling people the truth, we can’t expect any differently.”
Kinzinger along with his Republican comrade Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney have locked arms with Democrats in a monolithic attempt to bring Trump down. As with previous impeachment attempts, the plot is almost certainly doomed to failure because it is not based on facts, instead opting for hatred.
How conveniently timed this 'threat' to Kinzinger was. Hearings losing steam and not distracting from inflation/gas as they had hoped, so a handwritten letter magically showed up.
And look at what it fueld. lol https://t.co/uB6ICnBx92

Kinzinger vented against his own party, calling out Trump and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).
“If you’re going stand in front of those people and lie to them and tell them Donald Trump’s right, the election was stolen, because that has you giving me $20 when I send you the next e-mail, or it’s way easier for my primary election, we can have no doubt that 80 percent of the country is going to believe what their leaders are saying,” he bitterly charged.
Predictably, many aired their doubts that the letter was legit with a side of mockery:
Countdown to when it is determined that this was written in Adam’s handwriting.

Normal people, when they receive a threat they go to the police. They don’t go on social media or tv. Adam Kinzinger is a liar

You know that there are forensic handwriting experts, right? And speaking of experts, you should seek professional help.

Yawn.
Track record for lefties claiming to be beaten, insulted, threatened, lynched, etc. is pretty dismal. 100% fake. I guess if you have nothing real to bolster your narrative, go out and fake it, right?
