Gingrich asks how anyone could send ‘incompetent’ Kamala Harris anywhere after humiliating presser

Since Inauguration Day of 2021, Vice President Kamala Harris has reminded America and the world on a near-daily basis how frightening it is that she is only a heartbeat away from the presidency of the United States.

Having failed spectacularly as the U.S. “Border Czar,” it only seems fitting that the Biden regime would send Harris on an errand to Poland to assuage the fears of the Ukrainian people and reaffirm that the U.S. has got their backs.

The performance was laughable and tragic all at once.

Always the serious-minded diplomat, Harris responded to at least one rather important question with her trademark fatuous cackle during the presser with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw Thursday.

Harris was asked about the prospect of the U.S. taking in Ukrainian refugees; a question that might be in the wheelhouse for an American diplomat in the Executive Branch – one would think, anyway.

“I’m wondering what the United States is going to do more specifically to set up a permanent [border] infrastructure? And relatedly, is the United States willing to make a specific allocation for Ukrainian refugees?” a reporter asked.

The reporter then briefly turned to Duda and asked him a question as well: “And for President Duda, I wanted to know if you think and if you asked the United States specifically to accept more refugees?”

In the video clip posted on American Wire News, Harris appeared nervous and confused by the question, turning at one point to the Polish president and seeming to plead, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” Then the awkward guffaws begin.

But that is par for the course when it comes to the VP.

Former U.S. House Speaker and author Newt Gingrich joined Maria Bartiromo and railed against the VP and the Biden regime writ large on Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria” Thursday.

“I think that the Biden administration has no ability to think strategically,” the Republican said, “so they bounce from press conference to press conference; from ridiculous statement to ridiculous statement.”

Gingrich said President Biden and much of the Democratic Left simply cannot come to grips with reality, and they are ignoring what are inarguably war crimes committed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and, by extension, his commanders and perhaps even farther down the chain of command. He also spoke of the illogical and dangerous condition that the U.S. will shamefully allow Russia to set the parameters of the next round of negotiations on the Iran nuclear agreement; this after tough-guy talk from Biden and a ban on Russian energy imports as well as so-called severe consequences for the aggressor in Ukraine.

He also believes that Putin is a dangerous man who is seriously entertaining the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine as he allegedly backed the use of in Syria in 2013.

This, he says, is all the more reason to keep the wholly incompetent Harris far away from anything involving foreign policy, not that Joe Biden possesses better skills, as he is known to have been perpetually wrong on all things foreign policy for over 40 years.

“If you watch Kamala Harris, how could you send her anywhere? She is such an example of weakness and ignorance that having her in Poland and Romania weakens, it doesn’t strengthen, the Western alliance,” he said.

Gingrich stressed that we are dangerously close to nuclear conflict and, moreover, the utter defeat of the West.

When asked by Bartiromo why the current Democrat administration refuses to respond in a way that could end the atrocities in Ukraine and stop Putin’s war machine, Gingrich explained, “They can’t because they believe in a secular religion. They can’t deal with violent criminals at home; they can’t deal with a violent dictator overseas; they can’t confront reality. They get together in a room and tell themselves fantasies.”

He added of Harris, “If you just watch Kamala Harris trying to explain the war, it should be obvious: These people are incompetent to deal with the real world.”

“They were fine in a basement for a campaign; they’re just terrible in the White House for a real war”

He offered another sobering conclusion:

“If we allow him [Putin] to get away with it, we have now entered an age of barbarism, and we’re going to see this stuff all over the planet,” Gingrich continued. “It’s going to be as though the Cold War never existed and the West never won.”

“And it will be Joe Biden who will have presided over the defeat of the West,” he warned.
