Biden shares tone-deaf plan to ensure ‘no one will have to worry about gas prices’

President Joe Biden ridiculously promoted his green agenda and advised Americans to purchase massively expensive electric cars so they will unrealistically no longer have to worry about buying gas while deterring “tyrants like Putin” from using fossil fuels as a weapon.

“Loosening environmental regulations won’t lower prices. But transforming our economy to run on electric vehicles, powered by clean energy, will mean that no one will have to worry about gas prices. It will mean tyrants like Putin won’t be able to use fossil fuels as a weapon,” the president tweeted.

“It should motivate us to accelerate the transition to clean energy,” Biden declared according to The Driven. “This is a perspective, as I said, that our European allies share and the — a future where together we can achieve greater independence.”

Biden also clapped back against conservatives who are demanding that he loosen environmental regulations to empower energy production.

“(That) won’t, will not lower energy prices for families,” he asserted. “But transforming our economy to run on electric vehicles powered by clean energy with tax credits to help American families winterize their homes and use less energy, that will — that will help.”

Biden joins Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and White House press secretary Jen Psaki in calling for the rapid transition to electric vehicles at a time of rampant inflation and skyrocketing gas prices. All of them are blaming explosive gas prices on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent ban on oil exports from Russia. But the truth is that gas prices started jumping the minute that Biden took office.

Instead of ramping up energy production at home, making American energy independent as the nation was just a mere two years ago, he is crawling to Venezuela, Iran, and Saudi Arabia begging for oil and pushing climate change. Many contend the plan is to let gas prices get so high that Americans are forced to buy electric vehicles.

In Biden’s State of the Union address, he heavily pushed switching to electric vehicles.

“Ford is investing $11 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 11,000 jobs across the country,” Biden said in his speech on March 1. “GM is making the largest investment in its history — $7 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 4,000 jobs in Michigan.”

In his address, Biden claimed that families could save $80 per month by switching to an electric vehicle “because you’ll never have to pay at the gas pump again.” They would still have to pay for the energy needed to charge their car and for the car itself which most Americans cannot afford.

Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren commented on “Fox & Friends” concerning the push for electric cars by the Biden administration on Tuesday. She compared it to being slapped in the face.

“[Pete Buttigieg and Kamala Harris] think that this repeated talking point of green jobs and green energy is going to do the trick, but it simply will not, and here’s why. Guess what it takes to make these electric vehicles they are constantly taught? Well, it takes fossil fuels, and it takes emissions,” she stated.

“We have an energy crisis and if we can make it here at home, which we can, that is absolutely what we should be doing. Like in my home state of South Dakota which is still struggling and suffering from the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline, which that energy company TransCanada committed to making it net-zero emissions and also creating tens of thousands of jobs not only in South Dakota but around the country where people truly need those jobs,” Lahren continued.

“So to sit there and to preach to people how they should just buy electric vehicles, who can’t even afford to buy electric, that is when we have energy sitting right here that is cheap, affordable, it’s not only tone-deaf, but it’s a slap in the face to the American people,” she heatedly concluded.
