Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly hiding his Olympic gold-medal-winning gymnast mistress and their four young children in a highly guarded and “very private” Switzerland chalet to keep them safe as he invades Ukraine and engages in a full-blown war.

“While Putin carries out his assault on the Ukraine, attacking innocent citizens and causing a refugee crisis, his family is holed up in a very private and very secure chalet somewhere in Switzerland – for now, at least,” a source told Page Six in an interview.

Alina Kabaeva, 38, is a long-time mistress of Putin, 69, who divorced his wife many years ago. He is very secretive about the relationship and the two have never officially confirmed their affair.

“I have a private life in which I do not permit interference. It must be respected,” Putin has previously said, according to Page Six. “I have always reacted negatively to those who with their snotty noses and erotic fantasies prowl into others’ lives.”

The couple allegedly has 7-year-old twin daughters who were born in Switzerland in February of 2015. They are also said to have two twin sons.

“Alina has two young boys and twin girls with Putin who were born in Switzerland,” the source claimed during the interview. “The kids all have Swiss passports, and I imagine she does also.”

Putin reportedly has two adult daughters from his previous marriage, Maria and Katerina. He was married to former flight attendant Lyudmila Shkrebneva for 30 years until their divorce in 2013.

The Russian dictator rarely speaks about any of his children in an effort to keep them out of the public spotlight due to security concerns.

Kabaeva is famous for her agility as a gymnast and is one of the most decorated athletes in rhythmic gymnastic history. She has won two Olympic medals, 14 World Championship medals, and 21 European Championship medals.

She has been dubbed “Russia’s most flexible woman.” Kabaeva also posed nude while wrapping herself in animal fur for Maxim and was described as “full of sex” by a photographer, according to the Daily Mail.

It was rumored in the Russian media in 2008 that Putin had divorced his wife and was preparing to marry Kabaeva. The Kremlin denied the story and shut the offending newspaper, the Moskovsky Korrespondent, down.

It is also whispered that Putin and Kabaeva were wed in a private Russian Orthodox ceremony.

Her looks and agility are not Kabaeva’s only talents. She also served as a pro-Kremlin member of parliament for eight years. In 2014, she was appointed by the Kremlin to run the state-owned National Media Group. Her reported salary for the position was $10 million a year.

Despite her position and her talents, she is rarely seen in public. She denied having any children at all in 2013. If the couple’s twin daughters are indeed 7-years-old now they would have been born in 2014 or 2015. She allegedly gave birth to twin sons in 2019 as well.

Switzerland has always been notoriously neutral on the global political playing field. But that may be changing, according to CNN, as they are claiming to now take a tough stance on Russia after the invasion of Ukraine.

The Swiss Federal Council announced on Feb. 28 that it had frozen the assets of certain Russian individuals and companies. The council noted that “the financial sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are also to be implemented with immediate effect.”

Whether his mistress will have her funds frozen as well is not known at this time. Putin has carefully hidden away his assets and money as well as his mistress and family.

Putin’s former wife claims he is a loving and doting father via the Russian leader’s government website. The claim does not seem to fit the cold, calculating persona of a stone-cold dictator who rules Russia with an iron fist.

“Not all fathers are as loving with their children as he is,” Shkrebneva’s quote reads on the website. “And he has always spoiled them, while I was the one who had to discipline them.”

Other rumors circulating include one that claims Putin has hidden his ex-wife and daughters in an “underground city” in Siberia in a luxury high-tech bunker. It is located in the Altai Mountains and was designed to withstand a nuclear war, according to political scientist Valery Solovey.
