Two female Arizona State University students are playing the victim card after they were reprimanded over the harassment of white students in an incident that further underscored the degree to which “woke” ideology has unleashed the worst impulses of impressionable young people who have been empowered to engage in sanctioned racism.

Following the school’s action to mete out mild discipline against them for the September 2021 encounter with their Caucasian classmates who were quietly studying when they were accosted by the duo who sought to kick them out of the campus’s Multicultural Community of Excellence Center, Mastaani Qureshi and Sarra Tekola posted their “Dear white people” video to social media, railing against ASU’s “racially biased investigation.”

“Dear White People, A.K.A. ASU,” the two said in unison in a clip from the nine-minute diatribe. “You openly discriminated against us on November 16 when you handed down your decision from your racially biased investigation, we are being persecuted for defending our multi-cultural center from racism and sexism.”

“You gave us two punishments, the first one was a warning, and the second one was to write a three-page paper on how next time when we talk with white people about race and society, we will be civil,” one student said.

The other offender added, “This video is the fulfillment of our educational intervention, we are going to give ASU an educational intervention on why telling students of color at ASU to be more civil in the face of white supremacy and neo-Nazism on this campus is actually violent.”

The two claim that they have received threats and that “ASU was aware of how we were getting doxxed, and suffering psychological and emotional violence by white supremacists from across the country, but it still did not protect us,” a statement that will likely result in putting the school on the defensive in a trial in the court of public opinion.

The “white supremacy” and “neo-Nazism” that the pair is referring to is what has traditionally been the generally excepted principle of freedom of political expression with the real victims’ unforgivable sins being a sticker on a laptop supportive of law enforcement, wearing a t-shirt that was mildly critical of President Joe Biden and a drink from Chick-fil-A.

The incident was captured on video and clearly shows the white male Arizona students being persecuted for their skin color.

Qureshi and Tekola approach their peers and instigate their racial attack that they were making the space uncomfortable despite the insistence of the two young men that they were only trying to study.

“But you’re white, do you understand what a multicultural space?” one girl said, prompting one male student to ask, “White’s not a culture?”

“No it’s not a culture,” the assailant responded, taunting the white students, then claiming that “This is the violence that ASU does and this is the type of people that they protect, okay, this white man thinks he can take up our space, and this is why we need a multicultural space because they think they can get away with this s**t,”

Following the video going viral, the school had little choice but to address it with a tepid “punishment” that the two have rejected as being unfair and racist, rejecting that there is an obligation to be civil towards white people.

It is a sad testament to how the nation’s universities which not long ago produced rounded, well-educated young individuals who were prepared to enter into society where they would embark upon their careers have been poisoned by the toxic, anti-American ideology of critical race theory which condones racism as being necessary to battle phantom white supremacy that doesn’t exist.
