Joe Rogan predicts Dem ‘double-dose of diversity’ ticket in 2024 certain to beat Trump

Joe Rogan, comedian and host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, put forth a compelling prediction on Christmas Eve about the 2024 presidential election that involved a potential battle of “super teams,” with a dynamic duo of Republican candidates going up against a “double dose of diversity.”

According to Rogan, if former first lady Michelle Obama agreed to run and had Vice President Kamala Harris on the ticket as her number two, they would deliver a win for the Democratic Party.

“Michelle Obama and they’re going to bring in Harris,” Rogan said of his fantasy ticket. “Harris comes back as the Vice President and Michelle Obama is the President. We get a double dose of diversity.”

As for who the GOP would put up against the proposed Obama-Harris ticket, Rogan said it would be former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

“Trump and DeSantis together,” he said. “They have to make a super team. That’s the only way they win.”

“I really believe if Michelle Obama runs, she wins,” Rogan opined. “She’s great, she’s intelligent, she’s articulate, she’s the wife of the best president that we have had in our lifetime in terms of like a representative of intelligent, articulate people.”

Clearly, the podcast host was an enthusiastic consumer of the Obama Kool-Aid from 2008 until 2016, though he just as clearly doesn’t put a lot of stock in actual qualification to be commander in chief of the most powerful nation on the planet.

Should the former first lady actually run, her appeal would be based strictly through pop culture — well, that and an intense love affair with the media, which has already proven in 2020 that it can drag a 78-year-old, barely coherent dinosaur across the finish line.

“The only thing that would stop her is if she bought into some of these policies that are destroying businesses in America that are making people scared,” Rogan said. “If she somehow or another supported or showed any support for lockdowns and mandates and all this craziness that’s going on.”

There was some talk about the U.S. being on the “other side” of the craziness, though that remains to be seen.

“First, between 2008 and 2012, Barack Obama lost votes. Second, it is only because of Biden’s shortcomings that this debate has erupted so early in his presidency,” Rogan said. “Without Barack Obama, there is no President Joe Biden. As a result, it’s not a guarantee that Obama’s name will provide him with a boost in battleground areas.”

“Regardless of the two candidates, the 2024 election will be a referendum on the Democratic Party, just as the 2020 election was a referendum on Republicans,” he added. “Independent voters may see Michelle Obama as a moderate face for the Democrats’ radical agenda unless she comes out and rejects the party’s shift, which she will never do.”

Michelle Obama dismissed the possibility of running during a 2018 appearance at the Simmons Leadership Conference in Boston.

“The reason why I don’t want to run for president — and I can’t speak for Oprah [Winfrey] — but my sense is that, first of all, you have to want the job,” Obama said, adding later, “I’ve never had the passion for politics.”

The Daily Mail noted that bookmakers currently have Mrs. Obama as an outside shot at 25/1 odds, the eighth favorite behind Trump, Biden, Harris, DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N, Nikki Haley, and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

The topic of a 2024 Democratic ticket minus Biden took on additional momentum after the president told ABC News last week that he intends to run again IF he’s healthy — already the oldest person elected president, Biden will be 82 in 2024 and he’s already dealing with cognitive issues.

“I’m a great respecter of fate. Fate has intervened in my life many, many times,” Biden said. “If I’m in the health I’m in now – I’m in good health – then, in fact, I would run again.”

Adding to the idea that Biden’s not thinking of running was his response to being pushed on if he would run if it meant going against Trump again, Biden replied with a chuckle, “You’re trying to tempt me now. That would increase the prospect of running.”
