One of the reasons I have always considered myself lucky to be living in the U.S. is the protection offered by our constitutional justice system. The Rittenhouse case proves it has disappeared. Don’t get me wrong, I totally agree with the not-guilty verdict. What frightens me is that the Justice Department won’t go after those responsible for the violent protests in Kenosha and throughout the country, nor will it go after those who threatened the judge and members of the Rittenhouse jury.

Throughout 2020, the DOJ shirked its duty to uphold the law in the face of civil disturbances. Rioters, looters, and arsonists in our major cities got off scot-free while the McCloskeys in St. Louis and Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha were prosecuted despite videos that prove they acted in self-defense. Biden wants you to pretend that none of that happened in order to rail against what he calls a “white nationalist insurrection.” Biden should be ashamed to embrace this nonsense.

Attorney General Merrick Garland, said Tucker Carlson on Fox News, “wants you to believe and wants history to record, that January 6th was an attempted insurrection by white supremacist revolutionaries bent on taking over this country.”

“Because of January 6th, says the chief law enforcement officer in the United States of America, and many other members of Joe Biden’s cabinet, we must now use law enforcement and military force to arrest, imprison, and otherwise crush anyone who leads opposition to Joe Biden’s government. That’s their position,” said Carlson. “They say it out loud.”

 The U.S. has a double standard for justice. A long list of felons from the Obama administration, notably Obama himself together with Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, James Comey, and Andrew McCabe, appear to be immune from prosecution. Meanwhile, Republicans who have done nothing other than support Donald Trump have been persecuted and prosecuted.

The Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign without consequences. “[Trump] has been a crime victim and the Justice Department has done nothing about it,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “In many ways the Justice Department enabled the criminality.” According to the Wall Street Journal, Attorney General Barr knew about several investigations into Hunter Biden and “worked to avoid their public disclosure during the heated election campaign.”

 At the 2019 FBI raid on the home of Roger Stone, whose crime was being a long-time Trump friend and supporter, there were more FBI agents sent to arrest Stone than Navy SEALs sent to kill Osama bin Laden. It was a message of terror, said Judge Andrew Napolitano, the behavior of a police state. “Totalitarianism,” wrote George Orwell, “if not fought against, could triumph anywhere.”

That’s right, it could happen here. It is happening here. Courtesy of the Democrat Party, there are many parallels between 1930s Germany and contemporary America. If you are liberal and a supporter of the Democrat Party, you are assured justice. If you are a conservative Republican, you are living in Nazi Germany.

The Democrat Party has embraced violence as its modus operandi. The treatment of Roger Stone is the party’s way of intimidating its opponents. In 1930s Germany, the SA, a violent paramilitary group better known as Brownshirts or Storm Troopers, helped the Nazi Party’s rise with violent intimidation of Germany’s leftists and Jewish population. The contemporary version of the Brownshirts is Antifa, whose objective, says Dinesh D’Souza, is to “beat people into obeisance.” With the support of Democrat mayors and governors, violent Antifa mobs have trashed our cities, assaulted Trump supporters, and provided justification for more government control over the individual. What has the DOJ done to stop it? Nothing.

“You have to look pretty hard to find Democrats condemning fires, riots, violence, looting, stealing, burning police cars,” said political commentator Dennis Prager. If you only condemn what Republicans do and applaud what was done daily by leftists, says Prager, then you don’t care about truth. The Democrat Party has sent a message to its adherents that anything goes in the pursuit of power, from weaponizing the DOJ, FBI and IRS against political opponents to rigging elections. Democrats will not hesitate to deprive you of your basic rights if it suits their purpose.

Thanks to the politicized justice system that was set in motion more than 20 years ago, the quaint notion that we benefit from due process has evaporated along with Cinderella’s ball gown and fancy coach. Voters are finally beginning to get it. I am acquainted with many people who voted for Obama the first time out but who, by the time of his re-election, opened their eyes to Obama’s anti-American agenda. The same is happening today as a result of the Rittenhouse case and the DOJ assault on parents who expressed frustration with mask mandates and critical race theory. It’s about time.
