President Joe Biden’s approval ratings are in freefall as yet another poll shows that increasing numbers of Americans are rejecting his dismal economic stewardship of the nation and dictatorial style of governance.
According to the new poll by USA TODAY/Suffolk University, Biden’s rating is now at a miserable 38 percent, debunking the media myth that the career politician is the most popular president in history and a remarkable shift in the country’s mood since last November when he received the most votes of any presidential candidate in history, including Barack Obama.
Americans may be disgusted with Biden but his fans can take some solace in that he is more popular than Vice President Kamala Harris who is even more disliked. The inexperienced former senator, who was the beneficiary of a promise to kingmaker Rep. James Clyburn that a black woman be on the ticket, clocked in at an atrocious 28 percent.
It’s hardly a winning combination for 2024 and especially not if public sentiment continues to sour on a man who was falsely advertised as a moderate and who himself vowed to unify the nation only to use his power to weaponize the federal government against political foes and regularly engage in incendiary and divisive racial demagoguery.
In even worse news for Democrats, Biden has taken a major hit with the independent voters who are critical to their effort to retain power in next year’s vital midterm elections, according to USA Today: “Nearly half of those surveyed, 46%, say Biden has done a worse job as president than they expected, including 16% of those who voted for him. Independents, by 7-1 (44%-6%), say he’s done worse, not better, than they expected.”
The survey was conducted last Wednesday through Friday and doesn’t reflect any bounce that Biden may receive after the bipartisan infrastructure bill finally passed the house thanks to the defection of 13 Republicans who were essentially bribed with “pork” to break ranks and rescue the POTUS and Speaker Nancy Pelosi from yet another humiliation.
According to the poll, “Americans overwhelmingly support the infrastructure bill Biden is about to sign, but they are split on the more expensive and further-reaching ‘Build Back Better’ act being debated in Congress. Only 1 in 4 say the bill’s provisions would help them and their families.”
With the massive “Build Back Better” spending bill and its social engineering provisions that are being demanded by petulant progressives still being hashed out, and the USA Today/Suffolk University poll showing the amount of support for such legislation at a mere 25 percent, it may remain in limbo or be further whittled down from its original $3.5 trillion cost.
The new poll shows that Biden’s support has been consistently tracking downward and comes after an NBC poll released on October 31 showed him at a miserable 42 percent approval rating, forcing even staunch defenders such as Chuck Todd to grudgingly admit that Americans have lost confidence in the president.
On Sunday, Todd told his audience on the peacock’s flagship “Meet The Press” that Democrats are in “grave danger” of losing the House and Senate in the aftermath of the shellacking that the ruling party took in last week’s Virginia gubernatorial elections, a bellwether for the midterms.
According to USA Today, “If the election were today, those surveyed say, they would vote for their Republican congressional candidate over the Democratic one by 46%-38%, an advantage that would bode well for GOP hopes of gaining a majority in the House and the Senate.”
Even when considering the COVID pandemic, America is rapidly collapsing from within since Biden and his wrecking crew took office and began to implement their transformational policy solutions that have contributed to the destruction of the domestic energy industry, resulting in inflation not seen since the lamentable days of Jimmy Carter and unprecedented shortages that will hit households just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
There is also Biden’s employer vaccine mandate and, despite its “grave” constitutional issues that have already had the OSHA emergency order stayed by a federal appeals court, the regime isn’t going to allow something as trivial as the law stand the way of seeing through the assault on the rights of Americans to make their own personal medical decisions.
He has also failed horribly when it comes to foreign affairs, most notably as a result of the catastrophic surrender of Afghanistan to the Taliban, a betrayal of the nation’s allies that will have consequences for decades to come. And while Biden has devoted an inordinate amount of time sucking up to European leaders – especially over climate change – America has become the butt of jokes during his ten months in the White House.
There’s nothing to show that “America is back” than stories like this…

As it becomes increasingly obvious that Biden has been an unmitigated disaster and chants of “Let’s Go Brandon” echoing throughout the land, it couldn’t be clearer that Democrats have badly overreached and that there is nowhere to go but down for a party that is drunk with power and abandoned sound governance for radical ideology.
