Just as America learned with Afghanistan, where President Joe Biden vowed to stay until the last American was evacuated, the Biden White House simply cannot be trusted to tell the truth.
The latest example of this blatant disrespect for the American people is now underway in Texas, where thousands of illegal immigrants, mostly Haitians, are being released into the country despite the Biden administration claiming most would face expulsion.
With a public relations nightmare exploding on the southern border where thousands of migrants have established a third-world shantytown under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas, Biden has done nothing to stop the flow. At one point, the number of migrants topped 15,000, sitting in 100 degree-plus temperatures with no food or water. With the border wide open and out of control, and the numbers growing daily, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott eventually interceded, employing what he called an “unprecedented” process of using Texas National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety vehicles to create a “steel barrier” to deter immigrants from illegally entering the U.S.
Desperate to avoid a humanitarian disaster, Biden’s answer appears to be to quickly disperse the unvetted migrants who are very likely not vaccinated against COVID-19 throughout the U.S., with the Associated Press reporting that Haitians have been freed on a “very, very large scale” in recent days.
Citing an anonymous U.S. official who put the figure in the thousands, the news agency said many of the migrants “have been released with notices to appear at an immigration office within 60 days, an outcome that requires less processing time from Border Patrol agents than ordering an appearance in immigration court.” Speed being of the essence here, not the safety and security of the American people.
“The Homeland Security Department has been busing Haitians from Del Rio to El Paso, Laredo and Rio Grande Valley along the Texas border, and this week added flights to Tucson, Arizona, the official said,” AP reported.
Independent journalist Ali Bradley noted the “progress” being made, putting the number of migrants in the shantytown at 7,463.

Bradley shared images of the Haitians at the airport, and aboard taxpayer-funded flights to “Florida (Orlando), New York, and Maryland.”
While I was boarding my flight out of Texas, I talked with migrants, all from Haiti getting ready to head to: Florida (Orlando), New York, and Maryland.

This coming after Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on Monday, “If you come to the United States illegally, you will be returned, your journey will not succeed, and you will be endangering your life and your family’s life.”
According to Reuters, more than 500 migrants have been expelled back to Haiti. Upon arriving in Port-au-Prince, migrants grew angry with some trying to force their way back onto the plane that brought them there.
“I am angry at the [Haitian] government,” deported migrant Yranese Melidor told Reuters. “We were told …that the Haitian government had signed to send us back to Haiti. They are all bad people, these authorities.”
Three U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were injured after “two separate disruptions” in Port-au-Prince, Fox News reported.

“On Tuesday, Sept. 21, some adult migrants caused two separate disruptions on the tarmac after deplaning in Port-au-Prince, Haiti,” a DHS spokesperson said. “Haitian crowd control officers responded to both incidents and resolved the situations. ICE fully respects the rights of all people to peacefully express their opinions, while continuing to perform its immigration enforcement mission consistent with our priorities, federal law and agency policy.”
On a DHS bus, a group of Haitians took control of the vehicle taking them to Brownsville, before fleeing to avoid being sent back to Haiti. While they were reportedly captured, the likelihood that their initial fears would have been realized was low.
Border Patrol is completely overwhelmed by the invasion of thousands of illegal immigrants, now averaging over 200,000 people a month encouraged by the welcome mat Biden has rolled out.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson called attention to how out of control things are on Monday night’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” reporting that at least two Border Patrol checkpoints were left completely unmanned recently.

“How completely out of control is the situation on our southern border in Texas?” he asked, before stating that a Border Patrol checkpoint near El Iindio, Texas, had been left “completely unmanned.”
“Two days later, just this Sunday, the Border Patrol checkpoint on U.S. highway 57, east of Eagle Pass, Texas was also totally unmanned,” Carlson added. “Again, know no one there, 18 wheelers drove right over the bridge from a country in the middle of a drug war and sped off into the interior of the United States. God knows what was in those trucks and we will never know. So Joe Biden really has opened America’s borders to the world. That’s not a Republican talking point. It is completely real.”
