Trump West Point appointee says Biden’s border policies seek ‘to make white people the minority’

A retired U.S. Army officer appointed to West Point’s advisory board by then-President Donald Trump near the end of his term has said he believes Joe Biden’s border policies are aimed at flooding the U.S. with poor Latino migrants in an effort to displace whites and help Democrats retain power.

Douglas Macgregor, a noted, highly decorated Gulf War tank commander, was appointed to his three-year term by Trump on Dec. 8 on a board that provides advice and counsel to the president regarding good order, morale, discipline, curriculum, and other facets of the Army’s premier educational institution.

Last month during an interview with “The Other Side of Midnight” podcast hosted by Frank Morano, he raised eyebrows after claiming that the Biden administration’s immigration policies were designed “to outnumber the numbers of Americans of European ancestry who live in the United States.”

“I think they’ve got control of it. There’s no question about it,” Macgregor, 68, said when asked about the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis, which has worsened in recent weeks, according to local law enforcement agencies and border state leaders.

“But their idea of control is to bring in as many people as they possibly can, as quickly as possible, from anywhere in the world, frankly. But preferably from Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and some, some portions of Asia, but not many,” he added.

“The idea is that they have to bring in as many non-Europeans as possible in order to outnumber the numbers of Americans of European ancestry who live in the United States,” Macgregor continued. “That’s what it’s all about. And I don’t think there’s any point in questioning it. That is the policy. It is a deliberate policy to enact demographic change.”

In addition, the one-time senior advisor to then-Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller said there were “a lot of criminals” among the tens of thousands of migrants crossing illegally into the U.S., a claim that has been substantiated by several reports over the past few months.

“We’re also encouraging all these worst elements to come in and camp and effectively enjoy the fruits of citizenship without earning them and without ever having qualified for them,” said Macgregor.

“And I think some of you must have seen the thousands of pregnant women coming up from Latin America, so they can have their children here. And then the child immediately is declared an American citizen,” he continued. “And again, all of this is part of the grand plan. This is what Mr. Biden and his supporters want. They want another country. They don’t want the United States.”

Macgregor isn’t alone in his theory regarding so-called ‘open border policies’ supported by the Biden administration and most Democrats. In recent weeks, top-rated Fox News host Tucker Carlson has offered a similar view regarding the “replacement” of current American voters who support, or tend to support, Republican politicians.

After initially taking heat for his theory, Carlson doubled down on it during a mid-April show and mocked critics who pushed back on it.

“Now, I know that the left and all the little gatekeepers on Twitter become literally hysterical if you use the term ‘replacement,’ if you suggest that the Democratic Party is trying to replace the current electorate, the voters now casting ballots, with new people, more obedient voters from the Third World,” he said.

“But they become hysterical because that’s what’s happening, actually.”
