De Blasio, Cuomo, Schumer…hello? Ex-NY Rep rips ‘cowardly’ leadership as ‘Jewish blood runs in the streets’

Violent pro-Palestinian activists are setting their sights on Jews in New York City in response to the Israel-Hamas conflict in the Middle East.

President Joe Biden talks about unity and preaches civility, yet Jews in the largest city in America are coming under attack by mobs that support Palestine over Israel, which has seen more than 4,000 rockets rain down from the skies, fired by Hamas terrorists.

Some in the mob are seen wearing keffiyehs, traditional headgear worn by many Arabs, as they attack Jewish residents.

One example was caught on video, reportedly taking place at Benjamin’s Steakhouse Prime. Jewish patrons were attacked Thursday night by a mob reportedly screaming profanities and spitting on them as they sat at outdoor tables.

Restaurant staff is seen valiantly placing themselves in front of the diners, holding out their arms to keep the mob at bay. Organizers can be seen steering people down the street. Remarkably, police are seen trailing the protesters, doing little to prevent the attack from happening in the first place.

The incident is not an exception, as other videos are making the rounds online.

One such video captured pro-Palestinian activists in Midtown Manhattan reportedly throwing an explosive device toward Jewish workers in the Diamond District.

Here’s another take from an onlooker — Caution: Adult Language:

The NYPD bomb squad responded for what turned out to be fireworks and a device a source described as a “60 second smoke generator,” the New York Post reported.

The paper said protesters “also threw water bottles and other projectiles at cops and pushed over planters and barriers in an attempt to block traffic.”

Former New York state Rep. Dov Hikind, a Democrat, shared several videos, tweeting “Palestinians threw a mini firebomb at Jews in New York City moments ago.”

He also had a message for “the squad,” U.S. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich — the radical left lawmakers have been virulently anti-Israel as thousands of rockets rain down in the Jewish state.

With such anti-Semitic representation in Congress, Israel haters are as emboldened as ever, to the point of openly attacking Jews in New York City.

A social media user shared this very sentiment in a tweet seen here:

In a passionate video, Hikind spoke about “Jewish blood running in the streets,” to ask where are progressives who care about human rights? Where are New York’s leaders?

Calling them out by name, he mentioned Gov. Andrew Cuomo, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer and U.S. Rep. Jerry Nadler.

“They are cowards,” he said. “The double standard when it comes to the Jewish people is unbelievable.”
