In the fight against woke cancel culture, these are the leaders to watch

The flare-up over commonsense voter integrity laws recently passed in Georgia and Texas are the latest example of how destructive “wokeness” of all kinds, but especially that from corporations, is slowly overtaking the United States. As once venerated companies like Delta, Coca-Cola and Major League Baseball (MLB) all use their financial and political might to lobby against the interests of the American public, it is becoming increasingly important that we support strong conservative leaders who are willing to fight back.

Unfortunately, many in the Washington establishment are too concerned with boosting their political fundraising and protecting their interests and investments to stand up and do what is right. It seemed to be a very real risk that these D.C swamp elites would sit back and do nothing while the country slowly descended into a progressive dystopia. But with the 117th Congress that was convened in early January came hope that the status quo in the Capital might finally change.

Members of the Freshman class in the House of Representatives like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert and Madison Cawthorn represent the true spirit of the American public and promise to shake up the way things have been done in Washington. They are not afraid to stand up for the truth and call out the all-too-common hypocrisy that occurs in the nation’s Capital when they see it and have helped lead the charge against wokeness in the U.S.

After the second sham-impeachment trial against President Trump was completed, for example, Congressman Cawthorn called out party turncoats for their double-speak. He even went as far as to call out his colleague from North Carolina, Richard Burr, noting how the Senator “literally said he thinks this impeachment is unconstitutional, yet then he turns right around and votes for it.” It is this kind of behavior from establishment Republicans represents the past of the party and threatens the future of our country.

When the Democrats tried to ram through the $1.9 trillion so-called COVID stimulus package in early March, meanwhile, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene called the bill out for what it was, a “massive woke progressive Democrat wish list,” and led the Republican effort to block Biden’s flawed bailout. By using an obscure parliamentary procedure to her advantage and calling for a vote on the “motion to proceed,” the Congresswoman forced Democrats in Congress to go through a number of painful procedural votes they would have otherwise bypassed. This significantly slowed down the process of passing the bill and provided an opportunity for many of the most egregious parts of the legislation to be brought to the attention of the American public.

Similarly, when the FBI and Department of Homeland Security missed all of the warning signs that would have prevented the attack on the Capitol in early April, Representative Lauren Boebert questioned whether the agencies should have been aware of the threat or whether they were distracted by “woke training.” By standing up to the shadowy forces of the deep state and questioning one of their Golden Calves, the Congresswoman put them on notice that their malfeasance would no longer go unchecked.

Other conservative leaders are directly confronting the forces of corporate wokeness. Senators Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Josh Hawley have filed a bill to end the MLB’s antitrust exemption, citing the fact that the organization is “acting to favor one party against the other.” President Trump meanwhile, has stated that “it is finally time for Republicans and conservatives to fight back.” He has called for a boycott of all the woke companies that helped rig and steal our 2020 election and to not “go back to their products until they relent.”

It’s time for the rest of the Republican Party to unite around the leaders of its next generation.  Brave new members like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Madison Cawthorn and Lauren Boebert make up the storm taking on Washington and liberals and their corporate allies are targeting them.

Woke companies publicly declared they would no longer donate to Representatives who stood up for the country. But why them? Because they won’t cave to their demands. If these companies are only going to support candidates from one party and policies that run counter to the interests of the American public, then they should be held accountable for their actions.

To protect the country from the forces of the radical left, Conservatives must be willing to stand up and defend their principles. A new generation of patriots has come to Washington to do just that, and we must do what we can to support them in this fight.
