While many in the media originally reported that the Boulder shooter was a white man, he reportedly turned out to be a 21-year-old Middle Eastern Muslim who allegedly posted hatred for former President Trump on his Facebook page before it was taken down.
Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa allegedly shot up a King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado on Monday and left ten people dead in his wake. Among the dead was a police officer who arrived first on the scene. Alissa is now facing ten counts of first-degree murder. He was reportedly living in Arvada, Colorado, and has allegedly lived most of his life in the U.S. according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and court records, he was convicted of misdemeanor assault in 2018. He pleaded guilty to the charge and paid a fine.
His victims range from 20 to 65 years old. No motive has been determined at this time. The victims in the mass shooting were identified as “Denny Strong, 20; Neven Stanisic, 23; Rikki Olds, 25; Tralona Bartkowiak, 49; Suzanne Fountain, 59; Teri Leiker, 51; Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley, 51; Kevin Mahoney, 61; Lynn Murray, 62, and Jody Waters, 65.” Officer Talley has seven children ages 5 to 18.
While many verified social media accounts ran with the angle that the shooter was a white man, they were proven wrong when Alissa was taken into custody. Meena Harris, the Vice President’s niece had tweeted: “The Atlanta shooting was not even a week ago. Violent white men are the greatest terrorist threat to our country.” Many others also referred to the shooter as a “white man” on Twitter.

Harris was forced to delete her tweet accusing the shooter of being a violent white male. She would later tweet out: “I deleted a previous tweet about the suspect in the Boulder shooting. I made an assumption based on his being taken into custody alive and the fact that the majority of mass shootings in the U.S. are carried out by white men.”
This was the niece of our vice president's immediate reaction to the shooting.

You made assumptions based on what you hoped the shooter’s skin color was. So you’re a racist?

Vice President Kamala Harris stated on Tuesday that the mass shooting was “absolutely baffling.”
“It’s 10 people going about their day, living their lives, not bothering anybody,” she told reporters. “A police officer who is performing his duties, and with great courage and heroism.”
“Our hearts got out to all the victims killed during this senseless act of violence,” Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold sadly proclaimed on Tuesday. She vowed that they would “bring justice to each of these families.”
Chief: Our hearts go out to all families impacted. There are 10 fatalities. She identified slain Police Officer Eric Talley, who was one of the first on the scene. She calls officer's actions "heroic."

Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty made his own promise on Tuesday “to make sure that the killer is held absolutely and fully accountable for what he did, to them, to all the loved ones and friends of the victims, and to the boulder community yesterday.”
Alissa was taken away in handcuffs, shirtless, and with a bloody leg. The alleged shooter is currently being treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound to his leg.
Twitter was ablaze over the shooting. But what stood out prominently was the backlash after the media and social media reflexively labeled the shooter as “white.”
We're about to witness the Boulder shooting magically disappear from coverage on every mainstream news channel right before our eyes.
– The shooter's name is middle-eastern (I refuse to repeat it)
– The shooter posted on FB multiple times about how he hated Trump

THREAD: Here are all the idiotic leftists who immediately jumped to politicize the tragic Boulder shooting to push their narrative, only for it all to fall apart when it turns out the shooter is muslim…

BREAKING: The suspect in the #Boulder, Colo. mass shooting where 10 were murdered has been identified as Ahmad al-Issa. He was first described as a white male. His social media, which is now deleted, show he was a religious Muslim who posted frequently about "Islamophobia." pic.twitter.com/Y6RWNK0nZ7

After Alissa’s arrest it was being reported that his Middle Eastern roots come from Syria:
He's a Muslim immigrant from Syria. https://t.co/QHn8VrcoUV

Sadly, and almost unbelievably this list keeps going. But, you get the point.
