Tucker rails over Biden-created border crisis: ‘Dems don’t value American citizens, they’re doing it on purpose’

Reporting from El Salvador, Fox News host Tucker Carlson set his sights on President Joe Biden and the Democratic party as the southern border is being overrun by Biden-inspired illegal immigrants — many wearing t-shirts with his name on them.

Not only did Carlson say Democrats are “encouraging” the crisis, he said that “they are doing it on purpose,” pointing to the Farm Workforce Modernization Act, a House bill that would grant amnesty to migrants if they can prove they’ve worked in agriculture in the U.S. for 180 days over the past two years.

Furthermore, Carlson detailed how the president and his party are deceptively trying to claim that the current crisis is a continuation of what was happening under former President Donald Trump — in February, 100,000 people tried to illegally enter the U.S., Carlson noted, compared to 34,000 a year ago.

The Fox News host also insisted that Biden and the Democrats don’t value American citizens or U.S. citizenship.

“You have to wonder if these people think a single human being believes anything they say,” Carlson said. “They probably don’t care. They certainly don’t care about the country they’re supposed to be in charge of. That’s the one obvious thing. They’ve given up even trying to pretend that they are making life better for American citizens. It’s easier to yell at Americans about making life better for the rest of the world. That’s the appeal of it – it shifts the attention.”

Highlighting lawmakers like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who champion the cause of illegal immigrants, he pointed to her congressional district.

“Ever been to Detroit or Newark or Oakland or Gary, Indiana?” Carlson said. “These are the actual places that Democrats run. The places they’re supposed to be improving. But those places have not improved, not in 50 years. They’ve become much worse. But the people in charge don’t pause to reflect on what they have done, much less apologize for it. They just move on.”

With a humanitarian crisis in the works on the southern border, President Biden was given an opportunity Tuesday night to speak to those coming to America while being interviewed by ABC News and could only muster tepid discouragement.

“I can say quite clearly: Don’t come over,” Biden said. “Don’t leave your town or city or community.”

Or, as Carlson interpreted it, based on the administration’s action, “Don’t come now. Come next week. We can give you more stuff.”

Biden not only denied that he should have anticipated the surge in migrants — after declaring early on that he would prioritize a pathway to citizenship for the millions of illegal immigrants in the U.S — he employed the Obama strategy, saying that “we are sending back people.”

He also reinstituted “catch and release,” turning COVID-19 positive migrants out into our communities.

The president downplayed what is currently happening.

“First of all, there was a surge in the last two years. In ’19 and ’20, there was a surge, as well,” he said, with a hearty chuckle.

In what would serve as comedy were it not a slap in the face of the American people, Biden also denied that his pro-illegal immigrant policies and rhetoric were serving as inspiration to migrants — never mind the Biden t-shirts.

“The idea that Joe Biden said: ‘Come’ — because I heard the other day that they’re coming because they know I’m a nice guy,'” Biden said. “Here’s the deal, they’re not.”

There. As far as the media is concerned, that matter is resolved — because Biden said it’s not true.

Carlson reported that “there are now over 13,000 unaccompanied migrant children tonight in our border detention facilities,” a stunning number that he said is “more than triple the record-high under the Trump administration.”

There have been several people arrested at the southern border who are on the FBI’s terrorist watch list, he added.

Noting that El Salvador is one of the most violent countries in the world, Carlson said about a third of all Salvadorans live in the U.S. — many of them illegally — and more are on the way.

“The reason: the Biden administration has declared the violence in El Salvador, and other parts of Central America, a humanitarian crisis,” he explained. “That means the United States now has a moral obligation to fix, and pay for that crisis. Biden has ended so-called “safe third-country agreements” that the U.S. once had with Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.

“That means that migrants moving north without visas will no longer have to apply for asylum in the countries they come from,” Carlson continued. “They can come directly to our country, no questions asked. Once they’re in the U.S., they can qualify for free healthcare, free education, and ultimately, citizenship.”
