South Texas rancher Emily Lord King lives in the southern U.S. border with Mexico and is concerned about the endangerment that accompanies a wave of Biden-inspired illegal immigrants.
Fox News host Harris Faulkner had King on as a guest on “The Faulkner Focus,” and asked her to respond to the “crush of migrants” who are “destroying their businesses and terrorizing them as they fear for the safety of their families.”
“We just saw a change overnight,” the rancher said. “I don’t feel like law enforcement was prepared for it. I don’t think they have the resources.”
“And now we have human smugglers driving right through fences onto our property,” King continued. “They’re not apprehending everyone that’s in those vehicles and they are left on our property running loose. We don’t feel safe. It changed overnight for us.”
Upon taking office, President Joe Biden put an end to many of the policies put in place by former President Donald Trump that were effective in stemming the flow of illegal immigration. Biden vowed to provide a pathway to citizenship for the millions already in the U.S., he stopped construction of the border wall and reinstituted “catch and release.”

The end result is that migrants are turning up at the border wearing Biden t-shirts and calling on the Democrat to allow them entry — and in many cases, he is obliging.
“There is one thing changed in the last couple of months and it was the incoming Biden administration,” Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, told Faulkner.
Explaining that he was standing outside a Border Patrol facility, the congressman said it was at capacity with 950 minors.
“A good chunk are positive with COVID,” he added. “This is all a direct result of a wide open borders policy by the Biden administration, a failure to finish the fence, but most importantly they’re basically turning DHS into a welcome mat and encouraging more dangerous journeys for kids.”
“Here’s the dirty secret,” Roy said. “Pretty soon, at some point, these numbers of these packed facilities will go down and they’ll go down because the Biden administration will start increasing catch and release — this is being done at the danger of American citizens, like Emily, and ranchers.”
The Republican lawmaker said American citizens and migrants are in danger.
“It’s the Biden administration’s fault, all for crass political purposes,” Roy said.
As for the coronavirus, he said they “have set aside the Title 42 requirements to stop people with COVID at the border for children.”
“That’s why there are dozens in the facility in tents right behind me with COVID,” Roy said.
Roy was part of a congressional entourage that toured the border, led by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.
The GOP leader was clear that the crisis on the border was created by the policies of President Biden.

“It’s worse than a crisis,” McCarthy said. “I thought I would see a crisis, but this is really a human heartbreak. We have a brand-new facility to care for these children — they built it beyond capacity thinking they’d never reach it. Today they just set the anniversary that they broke capacity, more than 1,040 children and it’s only growing every day.”
He also said handling the influx detracts from protecting America.
“It’s not just people from Mexico or Honduras or El Salvador. They are now finding people from Yemen, Iran, Turkey, people on the terrorist watch list they are catching and they are rushing it all at once.”
