Rudy Giuliani shared a major revelation on President Donald Trump’s ongoing election challenge in one key battleground state.

Trump’s attorney spoke with the president’s former chief strategist, Steve Bannon, about the latest developments in Arizona, telling him on Tuesday’s podcast episode of “War Room: Pandemic” that lawmakers in Arizona will likely be voting to certify Trump as the winner in the state.

Democrat Joe Biden’s seemingly narrow victory in Arizona has set a rift in the state as the Arizona Republican Party and the president’s supporters have lashed out at GOP Gov. Doug Ducey in the battle over the election results. The state’s 11 electors cast their votes for Biden, sending the certification to Congress on Dec. 14.

But Arizona GOP Chair Kelli Ward and others have been contesting the election results, and a joint resolution signed by 27 members of the Arizona state legislature pushed back on the certification.

In his talk with Bannon, Giuliani revealed that while Arizona lawmakers failed to get the votes needed on Tuesday to declare Trump the victor in the state, they are reconvening Wednesday in order to make that happen. Bannon noted that if one state falls, they all fall.

“Arizona, yesterday, similarly was going to pass a resolution demanding a joint session to certify Trump. But then they didn’t get the votes and they’re going to come back tomorrow,” Giuliani said by phone as the discussion began on the latest in Georgia where there has been a move to hold a joint session over the many election irregularities.

Giuliani was hopeful that the actions in Georgia would provide the impetus for lawmakers to do the same in Arizona where, he said, they are about “two votes away.”

“This election is far from over,” Ward said earlier this week. “Anyone who is telling you differently, whether it’s in the media, whether it’s the Democrat talking heads or whether it’s the Republican establishment, is just avoiding the facts.”

She posted an update on the Republicans’ battle in the state on Tuesday.

Ward had sent Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera and others into a meltdown after posting on Twitter telling Trump “we are with you” and calling on him to “cross the Rubicon.”

“We are working every avenue to stop this coup & to stop our Republic from crumbing. Patriots are united. Those who are against us are exposing themselves,” Ward tweeted with the hashtag that sent Rivera into another fit of rage against the “lunatic fringe” who continues to back Trump in his fight against election fraud.

The chairman of Arizona’s Senate Judiciary Committee issued subpoenas for election materials in Maricopa County where election supervisors voted last week not to comply. Arizona’s Republican electors filed a motion to intervene in the case.

Recent lawsuits by the Trump campaign, which were thrown out by courts in Arizona, have been appealed – one of them to the U.S. Supreme Court and the other to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
