Actress and activist Alyssa Milano is now ready for the country to move forward and has extended an “olive branch” to supporters of President Donald Trump.
After railing against the president and his supporters for years, the left-wing “Resistance” champion took to Twitter to deliver a self-righteous appeal to her enemies, calling for unity and to “be a part of the solution.” Milano’s shallow and hypocritical message received just the kind of response it deserved.
Milano was slammed from all sides after suggesting everyone get along and move on, accepting Democrat Joe Biden as the next president, of course.
Trump supporters called the actress out for preaching about healing the nation when she has been part of the pearl-clutching, divisive left who have fought the president on everything. And even those who would normally align themselves with her views denounced any efforts to reach out across the divide.

“I’d like to extend an olive branch to Trump supporters,” Milano tweeted Tuesday. “I am ready to move #ForwardTogether.”
The 47-year-old, who just two months ago said the “entire GOP should be tried for treason,” added: “There’s so much work to do to heal the nation. Let’s be a part of the solution and not add to the problems we face.”

Milano has been frequently slammed for her double standards and hypocrisy, and often takes to Twitter to share her emotional meltdowns over her cause of the day. Last month, the former Charmed actress displayed her version of unity when she declared: “America or Trump. You can’t love both.”
The activist’s knees went weak Tuesday after Biden tweeted that “America is back.”

But her insincere outreach to Trump supporters set off liberals on Twitter who prompted her to follow up with responses and even apologies.
I accept this criticism. And understand it. Thanks, Anthony. https://t.co/Tt0TfWfsxp

While extending an olive branch to people who are disconnected from reality because of the cult they’ve pledged allegiance to is commendable, it’s not likely to produce meaningful dialogue of any sort.

Nope. Not yet, not ever!

No, Alyssa, they are the ones who need to make amends.

“We’re going to need a lot of humility and compassion right now. Anger and triumphalism is less helpful,” Milano tweeted a short time after her olive branch. That set off another wave of backlash, and those Milano was thinking she was reaching out to let her know they were not interested in her appeal.
Socialism is even less helpful.

Rings pretty hollow for someone who spent the last four years dehumanizing Trump and his supporters at every given moment.

Notice how she only extends an olive branch when things are on her terms? I’m sure she means well, but she’s not recognizing how selfish she is coming off. I would believe her more if she gave Kavannah the olive branch and didn’t run her mouth on him in spite of zero evidence

So, if the recount declares @realDonaldTrump is the winner, and he continues his presidency for another four years, will you keep the olive branch extended? Will you still be willing to work together? https://t.co/YcHULOeNhm
