It can never be said that the intolerant left wasn’t upfront about who they are and the world they want to usher in, given half the chance.

And now with the belief that President Donald Trump has been defeated at the polls, there is more and more talk about revenge against the president via the filing of legal charges against him when he exits the White House and repercussions against those who supported him.

One of the leading characters here is perennial Hollywood tough guy and all-around deranged Trump hater Robert DeNiro — having previously confused art and real life,  he talked about punching President Trump in the face, though the actor seems to have his hands full keeping pace with his estranged wife.

Appearing on ABC’s liberal echo chamber “The View,” DeNiro was asked by co-host Ana Navarro why so many Republicans are still kissing Trump’s ring — though she had a hard time reading the question written for her.

“I’m — I don’t know what logic to use except they’re just afraid because — but they should be afraid of what’s going to happen later when he’s not around, and they are going to try to crawl back, the ones that would have the gall to try to crawl back,” De Niro replied. “It’s going to be — it’s going to be interesting to see.”

The irony here is that after naming Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., as one of those who “kowtowed” to Trump, DeNiro goes on to call the president a bully.

He also talked about how “angry” he was because of Trump’s actions, suggesting that the president would go to any lengths to “pardon himself” or the people around him.

“He’ll pardon himself,” DeNiro said. “He’ll pardon everyone around him, who he can, who is going to be possibly prosecuted and/or convicted.”

“So imagine him being elected for [the second] time,” he continued. “We all know what would happen. It’s the end of this country, period. I’m not being overdramatic or anything. We just know it will be crazy because if people buy into a person like this at this time, and he gets re-elected, we’re all gone.”

DeNiro went on to suggest that Trump supporters are clueless, though he seemed to be struggling to comprehend his own thoughts.

“And I don’t know, I think it affects everybody,” he said. “It affects all the people, the base that support him, and they’ll learn how it trickles down to them, and, you know, I just don’t — I have no — I can’t comprehend what’s going on with this person.”

Democrats have already proven via their sham impeachment of Trump that they’ll fabricate a crime if necessary to come after him, and should the president lose his legal challenges to the 2020 election, the smartest thing he could do is look for an avenue to protect himself and his family from the hard-left zealots who will almost certainly come after them when he’s out of office.
