Much like President Donald Trump, pro-Trump caravans find themselves being targeted in some precincts around America.

In New Jersey, where a Trump vehicle parade resulted in a traffic tie-up, authorities are launching an investigation of Trump supporters to determine who’s responsible.

After the northbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway were blocked on Sunday, State Police Col. Patrick Callahan said investigators were reviewing videos to identify the vehicles involved, the New York Post reported.

“If we are able to get enough evidence … I would imagine that they would be issued motor vehicle summonses for obstructing traffic,” Callahan told the New York Post.

And to think those police officers might be otherwise busy with an increase in violent crime following the Black Lives Matter riots over the summer.

Speaking of Black Lives Matter and all the lawlessness being seen in America on the political movement’s behalf, how many investigations have been launched to identify the culprits behind all the burning and looting?

But let a Trump supporter jaywalk in the wrong place.

Callahan responded to why troopers didn’t issue citations at the time, stating that their “primary objective yesterday, when that occurred, was to get that traffic moving again,” the Post reported.

“I never want to second-guess troopers,” he said. “But to start issuing citations and summonses out there probably would have hindered the troopers’ ability to get the parkway flowing north.”

The Tappan Zee Bridge, just north of New York City also saw traffic come to a halt during a Trump caravan parade.

One thing is certain in these situations, hyperventilating Democrats will overreact.

New York state Sen. David Carlucci called for police to investigate the incident, calling the caravan “aggressive, dangerous, and reckless behavior.”

“What was seen in New York was aggressive, dangerous, and reckless behavior by some Trump supporters,” Carlucci said in a statement. “The New York State Police should be working to identify these individuals and charging them. We all have the right to show support for a presidential candidate, but we do not have the right to endanger others and break the law.”

Carlucci was eviscerated online for his hypocrisy by those well over the double standard Democrats apply, the common theme being the number of times Black Lives Matter was mentioned.
