‘Can California flip?’ Stunning campaign ad stirs more hope in the hearts of Trump supporters

A new video advertisement supporting President Donald Trump is not only getting attention for its message but also for its visual content and source.

The stirring two-minute video intersperses comments by the president and video footage of the group allegedly responsible for erecting giant letters spelling “Trump” in the hills that overlook the 405 freeway in Los Angeles, California.

Although the City of Los Angeles removed the sign that was placed overnight at the beginning of October, it made headlines and raised questions about who was responsible for the enormous white letters similar to the iconic “Hollywood” sign.

Now the seven-man crew responsible for the feat has shared video footage in the ad which posed a question about whether it is possible for Trump to actually flip California and turn it into a red state.

A person referring to himself as “Mr. Black” told RedState that the 20 feet by 70 feet sign was in the works since 2018 but the group decided to hold off until 2020 to set it up.

“On January 20th 2017, I assumed that Trump would win reelection after normal Americans witnessed the hysterics of the Women’s March and subsequent displays of irrationality,” Black told RedState in a statement.

“But when Trump made good on most of his promises — all the while unruffled by the Category 5 media sh*t-storm raging around him — it seemed like the impossible was within reach: WINNING CALIFORNIA. And that was the initial motivation behind the sign,” Black added.

He explained that the sign was meant as a “psychological warfare operation designed to counter the psychological warfare” wrought in the state by the Democrat-run government since the coronavirus lockdowns.

“Putting the word ‘TRUMP’ on a hillside over the 405 — itself a symbol of beauty, aggravation and dysfunction — was intended to let the progressive Eloi of Los Angeles know that dissidents — MOTIVATED dissidents — live among them,” Black continued.

“It was also a signal to the war-weary AMERICANS here behind enemy lines that they are not alone. That they are on the side of fun and energy. And that they should GO OUT AND VOTE (for Trump, if that wasn’t clear),” he added.

Black also provide details of how the stealth operation to install the sign was accomplished, and the video highlighted execution.

“The more that a broken system tells you that you’re wrong, the more certain you should be that you must keep pushing ahead, you must keep pushing forward,” Trump’s voice is heard in the video ad over footage of the sign team.

“Not possible?” asked the graphic near the end of the ad. “Prove them wrong.”

The video sparked plenty of praise and excitement on Twitter.
