President Donald Trump slammed his Democrat rival Joe Biden once again on the issue of fracking and called him out for campaigning with “anti-fracking activist lady Gaga.”

The president and his reelection campaign targeted Biden on whether he will ban hydraulic fracturing if elected, calling him out for planning to have Lady Gaga join him on the campaign trail Monday in Pennsylvania. The Grammy winner, who also got into a Twitter feud with Trump’s team, recently came under fire for pandering to rural voters in swing states in a cringeworthy video endorsing Biden.

“Just learned that Sleepy Joe Biden is campaigning in Pennsylvania with Lady Gaga, a proud member of ‘Artists Against Fracking.’ This is more proof that he would ban Fracking and skyrocket your energy prices…,” Trump tweeted.

Aboard Marine One on his way to the battleground state of Pennsylvania over the weekend where he held multiple rallies, the president signed an executive order to protect fracking and later told supporters that he was “very honored to have done it, so now we’re protected.”

As the hours close in on Election Day, Biden will be concentrating efforts in the Keystone State, campaigning with Lady Gaga in Pittsburgh, while Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris will be joined by singer John Legend in Philadelphia.

“Nothing exposes Joe Biden’s disdain for the forgotten working men and women of Pennsylvania like campaigning with anti-fracking activist Lady Gaga,” Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said in a statement which he shared on Twitter.

“This desperate effort to drum up enthusiasm for his lackluster candidacy is actually a sharp stick in the eye for 600,000 Pennsylvanians who work in the fracking industry,” Murtaugh added, noting how Biden has “repeatedly promised left-wing activists” to end fracking if he is elected.

The tweet apparently got the attention of Lady Gaga who responded with a mocking post tagging the president. But Murtaugh offered a blistering comeback, thanking the actress and pop star for sharing the tweet with her 82 million followers.

“That’s a lot of eyeballs on your anti-fracking activism. Hope lots of folks in PA see this,” he wrote, reminding her to tag him next time.

Murtaugh followed up a short time later, tweeting: “Now that we have your attention, Google ‘Lady Gaga fracking.'”

Lady Gaga was slammed on social media for an eyebrow-raising video apparently meant to convince voters to back the Biden-Harris ticket. Her choice to deliver the message wearing camouflage, holding a beer can and leaning on a pickup truck, landed with a thud, however, making herself the target of ridicule and anger instead.

“Hey, this is Lady Gaga. I’m voting for America, which means I’m voting for Joe Biden,” the New York-born singer, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, said. “And if you live in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, or Arizona, I encourage you to vote. And if you have a friend that lives there, tell them to vote.”

“Cheers to the 2020 election,” she concluded, taking a drink from the beer can before crushing it and throwing it to the ground.

The singer was torched on Twitter for the condescending video and appeal to Americans in states Biden needs to win.

“Cringe and Pandering level 1,000! They must be REALLY scared and desperate to whip this little gem up to sea the battleground states.. And actually think it’ll work,” Newsmax political commentator DeAnna Lorraine tweeted.

“This is some next-level out-of-touch condescension vote trump,” Kyle Kashuv, survivor of the Parkland school shooting, wrote.

“Real rednecks wouldn’t have wasted that perfectly good beer, Gaga. I speak from experience,” Spectator editor Amber Athey wrote on Twitter.

“The only thing that would have made this pandering even richer: a gun in one hand,” Townhall’s Beth Baumann tweeted.
