Left-wing trolls played the Race Card when Senator David Perdue (R- Georgia) mispronounced Kamala Harris‘ name at a Trump rally on Friday. Predictably, they didn’t criticize Democrat Joe Biden for botching Kamala’s name on the very same day.

The faux controversy erupted after Perdue said: “The most insidious thing that Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden are trying to perpetrate — and Bernie, Elizabeth and Kamala, Kah-ma-la or Kah-mah-la or Kamalamalamala, I don’t know [is pushing socialism].”

Perdue’s press secretary tweeted: “Senator Perdue simply mispronounced Senator Harris’ name, and he didn’t mean anything by it. He was making an argument against the radical socialist agenda that she and her endorsed candidate Jon Ossoff are pushing, which includes the Green New Deal, Medicare-for-all, raising taxes, and holding up COVID relief for the people of Georgia.”

Twitter leftists immediately got triggered and accused Perdue of being racist because he mispronounced Kamala’s name, which is something that many people — on both the political left and the right — have done.

The communications director of Perdue’s Democratic opponent in Georgia snarled: “David Perdue is just gross. He mispronounced Kamala Harris’ name just now warming up the stage for Donald Trump to score race-baiting, cheap political cheers.”

CNN’s John Harwood huffed: “Disgusting racist appeal from David Perdue.”

MSNBC’s Kyle Griffin groused: “Senator Perdue should apologize. He did not ‘simply pronounce’ Harris’s name. It was deliberate. And it was racist.”

While the left resorted to their usual race-baiting, they said nothing on Friday when Kamala’s own running mate, Democrat Joe Biden, botched her name during a campaign stop in Detroit.

Biden had previously mispronounced Kamala’s name in August, when he formally announced her as his running mate.

CNN’s Don Lemon was so furious at Senator Perdue that he played the clip three times and did a step-by-step tutorial, lecturing viewers on how Kamala’s name should be pronounced.

Lemon huffed: “Senator Purdue’s office…claims that he simply mispronounced her name, didn’t mean anything by it. You heard him. He said her name four different ways and then tacked on a ‘mala-mala-mala, I don’t know whatever.’”

Lemon continued: “Their statement insults your intelligence! Even though Senator Purdue’s office has clearly given us a bad faith explanation, I’m going to help a brother out here, okay?”

He explained: “So what is this now next to the question mark and exclamation mark? That is a comma. Comma plus la is ‘comma-la.’ A simple punctuation mark. A comma and then a la. So easy. There. I fixed it for you, Senator.”

Many conservatives fired back at the nonstop left-wing race-baiting.

They noted that simply mispronouncing someone’s name does not automatically make them a “racist.” And even if the mispronunciation had been intentional, that still does not automatically make it “racist.”

Reminder: Twitter leftists have repeatedly trolled conservative analyst Tomi Lahren by intentionally misspelling and mispronouncing her first name.

In fact, the mob-bullying is so widespread that mocking Tomi’s name has become a popular left-wing meme. Not once has Lahren played the Race Card on her haters.
