Presidential son Donald Trump Jr. reacted angrily online to a viral video showing Southwest Airlines personnel ordering a black supporter of his father to leave the flight after he lowered his mask to eat some peanuts.

“WTF??? This is disgusting. I’ve been on a thousand flights in the last few months and everyone lowers their masks to eat and drink. I did it on a southwest flight earlier this week,” Don Jr. wrote on Twitter in response to the video.

The video, which was posted by SV News, shows interaction between a black man wearing a cap that says “Black Voices For Trump” and a male Southwest flight attendant asking him to deplane after lowing his mask to eat the nuts.

“BREAKING: @SouthwestAir flight attendant ejects passenger wearing ‘Black Voices for Trump’ cap for lowering his Trump face mask to eat nuts,” the SV News post says accompanying the video clip.

The black man is also wearing a face mask emblazoned with “TRUMP.”

A woman who is apparently taking the video intervenes, asking the flight attendant if he’s “going on hearsay” and did not actually see the man lower his mask.

“Can you tell us the policy that prevents him from taking his mask off while he’s eating, please?” she asks.

“I was not here or present, but the crew…” the flight attendant began.

But the woman cut him off, asking for the crew to inform her and the other passengers what the airline’s policy is regarding masks and eating.

“Tell the crew to tell me the policy that says he cannot eat with his mask off,” the woman demands.

The flight attendant ignores her and begins interacting with the man again.

“It’s the hat. It’s the hat and the mask, it’s not the eating,” the woman says as the man looks over at her and smiles in acknowledgement.

A moment later as the video continues, the woman asks again, “So, can you clarify for us, are we not allowed to take our masks off to eat on this plane?

No answer.

“Can you please clarify, are we allowed to take our masks off to eat on this plane or not?” she pressed.

The woman then pointed her camera at another woman sitting behind her, apparently to get her take on what happened.

“He put his mask on, he took it off when he started eating the nuts, that was it,” the second woman said. “I was sitting right here.”

In a second video, the woman says, “It’s not a publicity stunt. It’s trying to make you follow policy, indiscriminately and impartially” — perhaps a reference to her videoing the incident.

“So, do you follow your policy indiscriminately and impartially, or do you just do this for people whose message you don’t like?” she asked, denying that she was doing a podcast. “So this is the point — are you gonna give us a message that says we can take our mask off when we eat?”

“Yeah, that’s what they said in Germany too, just comply,” the woman said, perhaps a reference to Nazi Germany.

“Thank you for showing us who you are,” as the black man and a white man sitting across from him both exited the flight.

Southwest defended the ejection in a statement to the Washington Examiner.

“Our reports indicate that a Customer traveling on Flight 2632, with scheduled service from Tampa to Dallas, was asked repeatedly by more than one Employee at different times to wear a face mask. The Customer did not comply with our Crew’s multiple verbal requests — including while boarding the flight before seated,” the statement said.

“Therefore, the decision was made to return to the gate and re-accommodate him on a later flight to his final destination after receiving assurances he would comply with our face covering policy. We regret the inconvenience the situation created for all involved, but our Crew must uphold the well-being and comfort of all Passengers,” it added.

Southwest was blasted last year following a flight attendant’s scathing social media post which was critical of a Trump-supporting passenger.
