Martha Stewart agreed with her fans that she “looked great” in a poolside photo of herself that quickly went viral.

The lifestyle expert responded to the attention in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Monday, admitting that she did not initially know what a “thirst trap” was but agreed with fans that her self-portrait definitely fit the description.

The 78-year-old turned heads and stunned social media users with the sexy photo she posted last week as she emerged from the pool in her New York home. Though her caption was focused on her East Hampton pool which was “designed to be as chlorine free as possible, with a natural concrete finish-no paint,” fans could not get over how good she looked.

“I just thought I looked great coming out of the pool,” Stewart told ET’s Nischelle Turner. “My camera came on backwards, you know, selfie mode, and I looked so nice. The sun was on my face. I thought, ‘Oh, that looks pretty,’ so I took the picture. It looked good.”

“I don’t even know what that is,” Stewart told Turner when she was in formed that her internet-breaking photo was considered a “thirst trap,” an image meant to be sexy and generate reactions.

“That’s definitely a thirst trap,” Stewart replied once the term was explained.

The former model who turns 79 in a week revealed that one of the secrets to her great-looking skin is her upcoming CBD skincare line, 86 Elm.

“I’ve been using that for the last six months, and I really think it has helped make my skin even more lustrous and good,” she said.

Stewart noted that she is still in her “heyday,” but “I’m finished with birthdays, darling. We’re going backwards now,” as she described other secrets to keeping young.

“Just eat well, exercise well, garden, climb mountains,” she said. “I climbed Kilimanjaro. For goodness sake, I went up into the Himalayas. You have to do that kind of stuff. That’s the kind of stuff that keeps one vibrant and young and it’s important.”

Her stunning photo, with pink-puckered lips and shimmery shadow, not only created an internet sensation, it prompted some copycat photos, including one by Chelsea handler that got Stewart’s attention.

“Dear Chelsea, I’m so happy that you like my post well enough to emulate it,” Stewart wrote in a comment. “I do think my pool is a little bit prettier than yours and that my facial expression is a little bit more relaxed. Nevertheless you are a beautiful girl and F**KING too young to be emulating me. Continue with your comedy, your humor, and your amazing ability to gather around you political liberals. We need it! Love Martha.”

I’m here to take @marthastewart48’s swimming lesson. If I look this good at 78 I better still have a pool to show myself off in.

Apparently, Stewart will soon be taking Handler up on an offer.

“I just took up Chelsea Handler’s challenge to smoke a joint with her. I told her I haven’t smoked a joint since the 1960s. So for me to smoke a joint is a really big deal,” Stewart told ET. “We haven’t done it yet … it has to be together, some time in the future.”

Stewart’s new HGTV series, “Martha Knows Best,” will debut Friday and will feature the mogul giving home improvement advice virtually to celebrity friends like Lupita Nyong’o, Richard Gere and Hailey Bieber.  Stewart recently starred along rapper Snoop Dogg in VH1’s “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party.”
