Left-wing thugs tore down a Christopher Columbus statue in Baltimore and threw it into the city’s Inner Harbor amid Fourth of July celebrations this weekend.

Videos show mask-wearing hoodlums clad in head-to-toe black fastening a rope around the Columbus statue and then yanking it down from the pedestal in Baltimore.
On the ground below, rioters cheered the destruction of taxpayer-funded public property in the name of advancing “racial equality” and the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement.

To underscore the Left’s hypocrisy whenever they claim to care about the environment, the thugs then gleefully polluted local waterways by dumping the Columbus statute into Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

Statues of historic figures like Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Mahatma Gandhi have been vandalized and torn down for weeks amid a media-stoked race war.
Black conservatives have slammed the race-baiting Left and their media lapdogs for fomenting resentment among black people in order to manipulate them into voting President Trump out of office.
It has nothing to do with “social justice” for black people. They’re merely pawns having their strings pulled like puppets in a Democrat power grab. The Left has used this same tactic in every election cycle.
Exhibit A: Google searches for “Black Lives Matter” spiked in the months preceding the 2016 presidential election. Then, interest cratered right afterward.
Now — in the months preceding the November 2020 election — the media appears to have once again rabidly fueled interest in “Black Lives Matter” in order to influence the outcome of the presidential election.
“It’s part of the cultural Marxist agenda against America,” said political scientist Dr. Carol Swain. “[Democrats] are using black people to advance a radical agenda that will be destructive to our nation, that will hurt all of us. And it’s hurting us right now.”
Leftists claim they’re tearing down statues and burning down black neighborhoods to fight “systemic racism.”
In reality, Dr. Swain said the Democratic Party is pushing the false narrative of “systemic racism” and promoting the lie that all black people live in fear of the police.
“This false narrative is being pushed this year because of the election,” Swain underscored.

Dr. Swain said the Left is scapegoating the police and historic statues to make the push for communism.
“This is not about police brutality or racism,” Swain pointed out. “It’s part of a global movement to destroy the United States as we know it. Its roots are in Marxism. Anyone that studies Marxism knows where it goes. It goes to communism. And that’s where we are headed.”
Swain continued: “The grievances of black people are being used to advance an agenda. And if they succeed in destroying America, I guarantee you no one will be happy with the nation that remains.”
Swain said Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and the left-wing media have an incentive to whip up racial division in order to grab power through emotional blackmail.
“This is all about destroying America,” Swain said. “There’s no monument in America that is safe at this time. The thing that’s most distressing is that our leaders in the Republican Party, in the Democratic Party — they are not standing up. And this is not ending well.”
Reminder: We — the law-abiding, tax-paying Americans — are going to be stuck paying for all the damage caused by unhinged leftist rioters.
