DC under siege: Trump goes to underground bunker, dozens of SS agents injured, national monuments vandalized

Hundreds of violent protesters clashed with Secret Service police officers just outside the White House gates on Friday night and while its questionable as to what risk this may have posed to President Donald Trump, as a safety precaution the president was reportedly taken to an underground bunker.

“Nervous for his safety, Secret Service agents abruptly rushed the president to the underground bunker used in the past during terrorist attacks,” The New York Times reported.

The White House doesn’t comment on security protocols, but an official confirmed with Fox News that for a short time Friday night, Trump did go to the secure area.

“Wasn’t long. But he went,” the official said Sunday.

And while the president’s critics jumped on the news as if Trump ran cowering for cover, note that the Secret Service made the decision, according to the newspaper.

“Trump flees to bunker as protests over George Floyd rage outside White House,” the liberal media blazoned. 

But then, truth was the first casualty in the riots that have ensued since the protests over the death of the Minneapolis man turned ugly. And nowhere has it gotten uglier than in Washington D.C.

The end product when there are restraints on responding to rioting thugs is that you get more rioting thugs.

Exterior lights at the White House were disabled late Sunday, with Fox News noting that this was done so Secret Service could employ night-vision equipment to monitor protesters.

A large number of Secret Service agents were injured in clashes with the violent mob.

Many officers were hurt by rioters throwing bottles and Molotov cocktails in Lafayette Park, across from the presidential residence, Fox News reported.

The death of George Floyd is proving to be the vehicle for anarchists and socialist revolutionaries to take to the street to create mayhem, aided and abetted by a young generation being taught in schools and by the media to hate America.

As seen here, the part about the U.S. “being the best hope for humankind — a deeply flawed but noble democracy — not taught.”

For many, these alleged protests have become sport, a means for entertainment and excitement. And there is also a criminal element looking for opportunity.

Looting was taking place throughout the city as rioters took to setting Washington, D.C. ablaze.

Across the street from the White House, the parish house connected to the historic St. John’s Episcopal Church was set on fire late Sunday.

Known as “the church of the presidents,” services began at St. John’s in 1816, and the church touts that every president beginning with James Madison, “until the present,” has attended a service there.

There was little rhyme or reason among those set on destroying, as they attacked the AFL-CIO headquarters — the union is a firm ally of the left.

Betraying their leftist makeup, the rioters targeted banks, as if financial institutions played a role in Floyd’s death.

Authorities searched for car bombs late Sunday, according to Fox News. The network said it was told groups were positioning cars filled with incendiary materials for future use.

Earlier in the day, an Antifa-looking thug is seen using a hammer to break up curbs, to use the concrete as missiles to throw at police.

But then, the Antifa cabal is a common sight in just about every American city where there is rioting — fittingly, President Trump announced Sunday that the United States will designate Antifa as a terrorist organization.

The protests are more about the organizing strength of the institutional left than they are about racial justice.

Yet, the same liberal media cabal that bears some responsibility for what is being seen on the streets of America continues to run cover for this element.

The scenes playing out on the streets of the nation’s capital are disgusting — the time for restraint is over because American citizens are being pulverized by thugs who put no value on human life.

To get a feel for the hatred these degenerates have for America, the cowards even attacked the World War Two memorial.

There is no mistaking it, Washington, D.C. is under siege, with the radical left now able to accomplish what they tried and failed to do during Trump’s inauguration.

The city named after George Washington, the first president of the United States and father of the country, though, in post-Obama America it’s no longer politically correct to say that, is being destroyed right before our eyes.
