DC mayor taunts Trump as hiding ‘scared’ in White House, warning of ‘vicious dogs, ominous weapons’

The White House survived a night of riots this Friday thanks to the “very cool” work of the Secret Service but no thanks to hardcore left-wing Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, according to tweets posted by President Donald Trump the following morning.

Look:

The prior evening, a large crowd of unruly, disgruntled “protesters” gathered outside the White House to apparently “protest” the killing of George Floyd.

It’s unclear why the “protesters” were angry with the president given as, one, Floyd’s death occurred in a Democrat city in a Democrat state, and two, Trump has implemented more criminal justice reform measures than any other president in American history.

Nevertheless, the “protests” got quite rowdy.

Those looked like riots, did they not?

In the posts Saturday morning, the president also revealed that he’d sought assistance from the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia but had been denied allegedly because of Mayor Bowser.

But in rebuttal tweets posted later Saturday, the mayor seemed to suggest that the president was lying by saying her police department “will always protect DC and all who are in it whether I agree with them.”

She further categorized the violent rioters seen outside the White House as “people peacefully exercising their First Amendment Right.”

Her rebuttal fits with a similar pattern among left-wing politicians and media figures who’ve sought to portray the ongoing nationwide riots as mere protests, even as vehicles, businesses and entire apartment buildings have been completely destroyed.

“[An] under-construction affordable housing development that burned in the widespread violence in south Minneapolis late Wednesday and early Thursday was to be a six-story rental building with 189 apartments for low-income renters, including more than three dozen for very low-income tenants,” the Star Tribune reported after riots in Minneapolis earlier in the week.

During other riots Friday evening in Los Angeles, one officer was put in a chokehold and kicked.

And during yet another set of riots Friday evening in Oakland, an officer was KILLED.

“As tensions began to soar on the streets of Oakland Friday night, a gunman opened fire on two Federal Protective Service officers posted at the city’s federal building, killing one of them and sending the other to the hospital with critical injuries,” CBS News reported.

“A vehicle pulled up outside the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building at about 9:45 p.m. Friday and opened fire at the contract security officers who worked for the Federal Protective Service of the Department of Homeland Security, authorities said. The identities of the officers were not released and there was no word on the condition of the wounded officer.”

The White House is being swarmed, businesses are being burnt to a crisp and officers of the law are being killed, but according to Mayor Bowser and other Democrats, the president is the bad one, and the looters, rioters and now murderers are just “protesters.”
