Andrew Cuomo, the Democratic governor of New York State, announced that he’s single and ready to mingle with women in New York City.

Gov. Cuomo’s daily coronavirus briefings have dramatically raised his national profile — so much so that some women in New York are swooning over the 62-year-old divorced father of three. (There’s no accounting for taste.)

“I am eligible,” Governor Cuomo revealed this week during an interview with 1010 WINS anchor Susan Richards.

Cuomo was reacting to a poll conducted by Long Island matchmaker Maureen Tara Nelson. A poll of Nelson’s 2,000 female clients found that Cuomo and his younger brother, CNN host Chris Cuomo, are considered two of the most eligible bachelors in the United States.

“The Cuomo brothers won in a tie for the most handsome men in New York, a contest that I survey my clients every year to know what women are looking for,” Nelson told the New York Daily News this week.

Andrew told 1010 WINS that Chris is not an eligible bachelor because he’s married. However, the governor underscored that HE is single and ready to mingle.

“My brother is married,” Governor Cuomo pointed out. “I am not married, so I don’t think he would qualify as eligible. However, I am eligible.”

Cuomo then joked that he’s a Sagittarius from Queens (a coronavirus hot spot). “I’m just saying,” the governor said. “I’m just putting it out there.”

Andrew Cuomo was married for 15 years to liberal activist Kerry Kennedy until their divorce in 2005. From 2005 until September 2019, Cuomo dated Food Network star Sandra Lee.

Gov. Cuomo recently made headlines after photos suggested that he might have a nipple ring.

Meanwhile, Gov. Cuomo’s little brother, Chris Cuomo, has made multiple headlines after he was accused of bullying a senior citizen who had scolded him for breaking quarantine while infected.

The cyclist said to Cuomo: “Your brother is the coronavirus czar, and you’re not even following his rules!”

At the time, Chris was supposed to be in self-quarantine because he was recovering from the coronavirus. Instead, he was outside socializing with his wife and children.

Shortly after he was rebuked for ignoring his brother’s lockdown orders, Chris’ wife and son both tested positive for COVID-19.

Chris (aka – Fredo Cuomo) was later widely mocked on Twitter after staging a phony “reemergence” from his basement quarantine — shortly after he was spotted hanging around with his family outside.
