Finger-wagging Joe Biden gets in Mich auto worker’s face in hot gun debate: ‘You’re full of s**t’

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden may have recently surged in the 2020 race but he still can’t seem to take a direct challenge from voters.

The former vice president was caught on camera shouting at an autoworker at a campaign stop in Michigan on Tuesday after being confronted about his gun control policies.

CBS News reporter Bo Erickson and others shared video of Biden in a heated debate about gun ownership with an auto worker while he was visiting a Detroit manufacturing plant.

“You are actively trying to diminish our Second Amendment rights to take away our guns,” the unidentified worker can be heard telling Biden in the video.

“You’re full of sh**,” the 2020 hopeful responded, as he appeared to “shush” an aide who may have been trying to move him along through the crowd.

“I support the Second Amendment,” Biden argued. ” The Second Amendment, just like right now if you yell fire, that’s not free speech. I have a shotgun…my sons hunt…I’m not taking your guns away at all.”

When the man brought up remarks in which the Democrat allegedly said he would be taking guns away, a heated Biden fired back, “I did not say that!”

The auto worker contended that the comments were in a “viral video,” to which Biden shot back: “It’s a viral video like the other ones you’re putting out that’s simply a lie.”

At one point, the autoworker appears to say, “yeah, this is not ok” as he deflects Biden’s finger-pointing hand away from his face.

Others stepped in to diffuse the exchange and move the former vice president along, but he began to speak about “AR-14’s,” after telling the man, “don’t be such a horse’s ass.”

Biden then asked the worker if he was “able to own a machine gun.”

“Machine guns are illegal,” the man replied.

“That’s right!” Biden shouted, raising his voice some more as he pressed his confusing point about so-called assault rifles before finally turning away and moving on as the man continued asking him about his position.

Biden, who has had other confrontations with voters along the campaign trail, falsely claimed that 150 million people have been killed by guns since 2007 during last month’s Democratic debate as he defended his track record on gun control.

The Democrat has pledged to ban AR-15’s and other weapons if he is elected and even promised that former Texas congressman and 2020 contender Beto O’Rourke that he was “going to take care of the gun problem with me.”

Biden has become more vocal about his gun control stand and, during a CNN town hall last month in Las Vegas, he warned gun manufacturers  that he is “coming for you.”

The Detroit man who confronted Biden Monday was reportedly chided by his coworkers.

But Twitter users applauded his willingness to take a stand while calling out Biden’s rude response.
