Samantha Bee’s ugly six-minute outburst against Prager-U backfires, ends in mad donations

The left never learns and once again can thank one of their own for an attack on conservatives that backfired in a spectacular way.

In fact, Prager University founder Dennis Prager actually took comedian Samantha Bee’s criticism as a “compliment” as her recent hate-filled commentary triggered thousands of dollars in donations for the conservative media outfit.

“I do take it as a compliment, but I want to open up my heart to you, it’s actually a bit depressing,” Prager said on “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday, reacting to the segment of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” on TBS last week in which she warned that PragerU “is actually dangerous.”

“This is the level of criticism that always comes from the left,” he continued. “Not from liberals, but from the left. It’s mockery and lies. That’s all it consists of,” Prager said.

Bee targeted Prager U, the nonprofit which creates short educational videos on political and other topics, in a six-and-a-half minute segment dedicated to mocking the outlet for not being “an accredited academic institution” and Prager for his lack of sex appeal.

She even pushed her narrative on Twitter, attacking PragerU for its “bull***t conservative propaganda.”

PragerU noted in a tweet that the left is “terrified” of them.

The outlet also thanked Bee for her outburst, noting that it quickly brought in over $35,000 in donations “and counting.”

“The left validates what we say all the time,” Prager told “Fox & Friends.”

“They reconfirm the need for PragerU, why it’s so effective,” the talk radio host said. “They never actually answer what we say. All they do is mock. ‘Oh, PragerU, it’s a right-wing propaganda site.’ No, it’s not.”

He explained that there are videos on the site from “never-Trumpers, we have liberals, we have Democrats, we have people of every background.”

“One of our mottos is ‘we teach what isn’t taught’ because the universities have been ruined intellectually and morally again by the left,” Prager said.

“Whatever the left touches, it ruins: The universities, journalism, male/female relations, children’s innocence, sports, late night television, whatever the left touches, it ruins. So we are trying to give very serious videos within 5 minutes,” he added.

Professors from Stanford, MIT, Yale and Harvard are featured in PragerU videos, he continued.

“We have four Pulitzer Prize winners. We have three former prime ministers,” he said. “It’s a very serious place to learn.”

PragerU complained about being “heavily censored” by Facebook in 2018, saying the social media platform was deleting their videos because they were considered “hate speech.” Facebook later apologized and said it was a mistake. The outlet also filed a lawsuit against YouTube last year for restricting its videos.

Bee’s latest failed attack and the extra attention it brought to PragerU was mocked by Twitter users.
